Fabulous cottage less than 2 blocks from the beach. Newbern Cottage is a 4-bedroom home with 3 bathrooms, split master bedrooms, along with a spacious living area, dining room, and kitchen. This home accommodates a group of 10. Recently upgraded in 2021, including new hard surface flooring throughout the home and a brand-new kitchen. Newbern is less than a mile away from Jekyll Island Miniature Golf, a scenic bike trail, and the Jekyll Island Beach Village. The property offers pool privileges, a charcoal BBQ grill, a fire pit, cable TV, a washer/dryer, and a patio. You and your friends and family can rest assured that your bed and bath linens are provided. This is a perfect cottage for any family with a four-legged furry family member, as it is pet-friendly with a fee.

Pool privileges are provided at Holiday Inn.

Linens are provided with this unit, as well as a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent. These items will not be replenished during your stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Very happy with our stay at Newbern Cottage, though cottage is not the right word for the size of this house. It's quite large and it fit our family of 7 easily, with room to spare. We attended a wedding at the Jekyll Resort Club and chose a separate rental due to the number of people we had to accommodate. We had 2 small children with us, so the house worked out perfectly since there's plenty of room to move and lots of outdoor space. It's also a quick walk to the beach, which you can see a little of from the front windows. Lots of room to park and it's at the end of a short road, so quiet but easy to access. And only a bit more than 1 mile to the resort. Hopefully we can return and see more of Jekyll on our next visit.

Perfect Location

The house was perfect for our golf tournament and team! Plenty of space and super convenient to the golf courses. Beach was right across the street and all of the shops and restaurants were less than a mile away! Nice back yard with a fire pit and grill. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to use it. We will definitely book it again for our tournament next year if available

Perfect house, will book again

Great house, just as advertised. Nice sized rooms, furnishings, and comfy beds. Kitchen equipped with what you need. We planned a short get away and wished we could have stayed longer. My party of 5 was thoroughly pleased with the house and location, it can definitely accomodate more comfortably... we'll be back!

Awesome layout. 2 masters, split floorplan, perfect for multigenerational families. Everything looks newly renovated...comfy new matresses. Pet-friendly flooring. 2 minute walk to beach.
