Beautifully designed home surrounded by trees. Five-minute drive to the white sandy beaches of Lake Michigan, and conveniently close to Sawyer and New Buffalo as well as historic Three Oaks downtown where you can find Journeyman Whiskey Distillery, Acorn Theater, Froehlich's Bakery and Deli, Patellie's Pizza and more.

The home has huge windows with gorgeous views in every room and bedroom. It is well stocked with books, puzzles, and games; thoughtfully appointed rooms are perfect for a quiet escape, family retreat, and home base for exploring the area's activities.

We're conveniently located less than 2 hours from Chicago, about 3 hours from Milwaukee or Indianapolis, and less than an hour from LaPorte, South Bend or Elkhart.

Early Spring Family Trip

The home and location were perfect for what we were looking for! The host (Courtney) communicated directly with me and was very responsive. It was a very short drive to get to several wineries and downtown New Buffalo. Our family really enjoyed our stay here!

Perfect Wine Weekend

We absolutely adored this updated farmhouse just 6 minutes from downtown Three Oaks. Cozy and charming, this home provided an excellent retreat for this group of 2 sisters, a cousin, and an aunt to catch up and relax. Hosts communicated well and were extremely friendly. It is obvious they care about the experience of their guests. We appreciate them sharing their beautiful home with us.

We are former professional dancers, having lived and danced for companies in Seattle, San Francisco, Antwerp and Chicago. After teaching dance in Santa Fe, we’ve settled in beautiful Boise, Idaho. Now retired from performing, we are directing a professional dance company: Ballet Idaho.

We are raising 3 wildly creative and funny boys: Rowan, Kellan, and Quinn. We love to travel, cook, listen to music, and laugh (The boys are helping us a lot with that one.) We have put a lot of effort into creating a welcoming and inspiring space with our home, so we sincerely hope you enjoy your stay.

Why they chose this property

When we lived in Chicago, Michigan was (and still is!) a very popular spot for quick getaways from the city. We fell in love with Three Oaks on one of our many overnight trips to this beautiful state.

What makes this property unique

No TVs! You will have access to the world via WiFi but we created this space to be somewhere people can truly get away to reconnect with each other -- play games together, cook a fabulous meal, spend time outdoors, snuggle up and read, etc.
