Our stay at Beechwood was a great location for our long weekend. The cabin was the perfect retreat after a day of hiking and exploring a few of the numerous trails, waterfalls and vistas close by. The cabin is clean, comfortable and nestled amongst beautiful hemlock trees. The icing on the cake are the lovely and accomidating owners. We highly recommend Beechwood.
We were very pleased, we thought we were not at mountains, everything was there for us very very clean and host was very nice to work with. We had a great stay
The cabin was in a nice location to just stay in or go to trails which the property owns include a binder of waterfalls to see in Sullivan county it’s dog for
The house was in a great location and we really enjoyed nights by the fire and the party lights in the backyard. We had 6 adults and 2 kids and never felt cramped for space. We had a great time in Loyalsock creek where the kids could use their tubes and loved exploring the waterfalls!
It was a comfy and cozy cabin in the woods. Kitchen was well supplied and all linens and towels were provided which was amazing. They had a hot tub which was nice. We did have a small hiccup with the water pressure, but the hosts were on it and had someone out the next morning to fix the issue. The cabin was clean. We will definitely consider this cabin for another stay.
We enjoyed our stay here, the property is beautiful and close to Worlds End. We love Big Mikes cheesesteaks and firecracker fries!! Enjoyed a day at Knoebels as well.
Our stay was fun, relaxing and full of adventure. The hosts were awesome and amazingly helpful. They truly thought of EVERYTHING! The house was close to beautiful trails and waterfalls. In the evenings my family enjoyed relaxing by the campfire in this pleasant and peaceful area. Absolutely wonderful stay here and would definitely stay here again!
We were impressed by the clean, attractive and updated rental. It has a very nicely equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Beds were comfy and clean and communication with owner were clear and timely.
What a beautiful cabin to stay in. We had a family of 4 stay comfortably and enjoyed our stay. Close to many trails for hiking and tons of recommendations and pictures of trails by the owners to give you the best experience. House is stocked with everything you need for cooking your own meals and more. Hot tub was a wonderful bonus. Campfire area is available to use as well.
My partner and I enjoyed a weekend respite at Ricketts Glen. The house was quiet and roomy with a lovely outdoor patio that we greatly enjoyed. Having a bonfire, both nights was a bonus! I would strongly recommend this property if you’re looking to get away.
The house was fully equipped throughout. We took advantage of the fireplace when we arrived, and by the end of our stay, we were enjoying coffee on the back deck. The list of recommendations for places to go was helpful.
Property was just as listed. We enjoyed the firepit and found the Wifi to have plenty of bandwith for everyone's needs. Had a small issue that the owners were very prompt in responding to.
So many good hiking trails and waterfalls to find. We can't wait to come back again and find some more!
We had travel plans that we weren’t able to make and booked this lovely place last minute. It was perfect, quiet and comfortable. We were able to bring our two dogs- which was one of our reasons for choosing this listing. Close to a lot of great hiking and beautiful forests. Nice fire pit and the hot tub was a welcome addition! Other houses were a bit closer than expected but the whole neighborhood was quiet and so it wasn’t an issue at all, the trees around the house make it feel secluded. Kitchen was stocked with all we needed to make our own meals and we were able to relax and enjoy in this cozy cabin 🏡
Amazing place to stay. Lots of room. Beautiful country, lots of waterfalls and other things to do. Would love to stay again at a later time. LOVED THE PROPERTY WE STAYED AT, GREAT COMMUNICATIONS WITH THE PROPERTY MANAGER. I wish they had a dumpster on the property somewhere for trash, but there is a recycling center down the road where we paid $5 to get rid of 2 bags of trash. VERY HAPPY OVERALL WITH EVERYTHING !!!
Property was well maintained and clean. No surprises. Owners responded quickly when a pre-arrival question came up and provided ample information about the area as part of their checking package. Loved it.
This property was well-kept and comfortable. It was located in an area between two small town cities. The neighborhood the home is in is quiet and wooded, with houses nearby but good tree cover for privacy. We were a family of 6, and the well water did run out at one point in the trip. But it was not too difficult to work around and the water replenished itself after a few hours. The house was clean and safe, and set up for comfort. Due to the rain, we did not use the outdoor fire pit, but it was set up nicely. The kitchen was easily accessible and useable. Overall, this house was a very good base for our family to venture out to local state parks and take hikes, relaxing comfortably each night in the home.
