About this property

Rickett's Glen state Park! Our cabin is only 1/2mile from the trail head.

We have a beautiful cabin On 10 acres that border Ricketts Glen State Park. The cabin is only 1/4 mile from the trail head at the foot of the mountain. This state park offers beautiful views year round. Whether you would like to hike the 22 waterfall trails, rent a kayak on Lake Jean or curl up with a good book on the sandy beach of the lake, we have the peace and quiet you have been dreaming about! There is also excellent mountain biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, trail running, and hunting. You will enjoy a relaxing outdoor experience at our cabin. We have a comfortable interior with hardwood floors and all the comforts of home including air conditioning. The outside has many sitting areas including a fire ring and covered back porch.
Please note that we have another mountain home which borders the park. This home would be better for a larger group 4-8 or a family that likes more space. It has 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms and a large kitchen, family room and game room.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

This house had everything you will need and a little more! It was extremely clean, had the necessities and the spiral staircase was a bonus. It’s so close to the park and restaurants too. You won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay here! I had to text Jeff, the host and he got back to me almost instantly. That made me feel super comfortable.

We had a great stay! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Jeff was very communicative and quick to respond whenever we had a question, which made everything so easy. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Ricketts Glen or just to have a place to relax .

Perfect location for visiting Ricketts Glen . It had everything you needed to be comfortable. Jeff the host was easy to communicate with. The spiral staircase to the bedrooms was fine but if you have mobility problems could be an issue.We recommend staying here if you want to be close to the park .The Crooked Creek restaurant was a pleasant surprise very good . Ricketts Glen StatePark has some of the most beautiful waterfalls we have ever seen.

The cabin was very clean and well maintained, very quiet and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and we had a very restful night. We learned through email that morning we needed to supply our own towels and bed linens. Thankfully, we were just heading out and was able to grab some from home or we would have had to stop and buy some. If it was printed somewhere else, I missed it. I would definitely stay here again.

Cute cabin with a great location. Less than a mile from the Fall Trail and close to the Rickets Glenn Hotel. My wife loved it so much she wanted to look at real estate. We would definitely go back to this cabin.

Wonderful cabin to stay in while exploring Ricketts Glen. Well equipped, clean and a nice setting. Host very helpful and responsive. Did not realize from the description on VRBO that we needed to bring our own sheets, blankets and towels— it was not mentioned but I probably should have realized that from the pictures. Luckily I was messaging the host about check in details and he mentioned it (2days before arrival). So heads up on that! Lovely cabin…highly recommend!
