Cozy Cabin in the Woods Near Berea

Relax with family, friends or on your own in this tranquil mountain get away surrounded by nature.
Located 10 minutes from Berea College Campus, 15 minutes from I75 and less than an hour south of Lexington KY. Close to Owsley Fork Lake, the Pinnacles or Indian Fort Hiking Trails and Anglin Falls.
The space
It’s a cabin nestled in 9 acres of woods. There is an entrance gate followed by a gravel drive to the parking spot next to the cabin. There are rock steps without handrails leading to the doorway. An elderly person or person with balance difficulty might need assistance to navigate the steps leading to the front door. The entire cabin, patio and woods are available to stay in and explore.
Guest access
The entrance gate requires a pass code provided upon booking. Same for the cabin door.
There are rock steps from the parking space to the front door that do not have handrails.
Other things to note
Bring a bug spray for mosquitos while outdoors.
It’s in the woods so an encounter with a wild animal/s is possible.
Steps to the front door maybe challenging for people with balance difficulties.

This was our second time at the cabin. It was immaculate, and the stay was very restful. We kept passing on trips for meals and elected to cook and eat here just because we didn't want to leave.

This is the best cabin near Berea. Second time here. Super clean so cozy and cute. Great walking trails around the cabin and we met the friendliest dogs while we were catching the sunrise up by the Belknap property. They even came back down to the cabin with is to enjoy some coffee on the deck. Host gave very clear instructions on how to get to cabin. What a gem!! I plan to come back soon. Although I was with sister, I would also feel very safe coming here alone. So peaceful and beautiful. Thank you, John!!

This is an amazing, relaxing, clean, comfy cabin. My friend and I felt right at home and had everything we needed to nestle right in. We could step out the door onto a quiet, secluded, deck that welcomed us into the forest. It was great to have the Pinnacles within 10 minutes of the cabin so we could get in our morning workout.

Absolutely adorable cozy clean charming cabin! Such a cool vibe in the era and thoughtful decorations. Wished we had a longer stay. So quiet and serene, comfortable beds, hot shower, great reads. Only wish for automatic ice maker! Would love to return. Hopefuls, DO NOT PASS THIS ONE UP!!!
