NEWLY REMODELED!! Cozy furnished studio in-law unit two blocks from Downtown Mill Valley - a beautiful town a 20 minute drive north of San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge. Restaurants, Mill Valley Outdoor Art Club, cafes, shopping, trail heads, movie theater, comedy club/live theater all within walking distance. You can't beat the location.

This is a one room unit with hardwood floors, 1 king sized bed, kitchenette with mini-fridge, sink, microwave, coffee maker, and table for 2, bathroom with shower. This studio is a ground level unit in a 3 unit building with a separate entrance. Flat screen TV and DVD player, wireless internet access and street parking available. Pack and play crib available upon request.

It's perfect for parents visiting their children/grandchildren in the area, or for wedding guests attending the Outdoor Art Club. With nice linens, plush towels, it's much more welcoming and homey than a hotel room.

Easy driving access to San Francisco sight-seeing, and to beautiful Marin scenery and wildlife. 15 minutes to the Muir Woods National Monument old growth redwood forest, and to beautiful Muir Beach. 5 minute drive to Golden Gate National Recreation Area hiking trails, including Tennessee Valley Road trail, where an easy 1 3/4 mile hike takes you to the beach. Mountain biking nearby and kayaking tours of the bay available in Sausalito. 8 to 10 minute drive to downtown Sausalito - explore stores in charming downtown Mill Valley, or walk by the bay on the Sausalito marina. There are ferries to SF leaving from Sausalito and Larkspur.

A 45 minute drive takes you to wine country in Sonoma or Napa, or to the Point Reyes National Seashore.

The unit is on the ground floor (no stairs) of a 2 story, 3 unit building. The backyard is not available for use because full-time tenants have exclusive use of it.

There is a family living upstairs so expect to hear some footsteps above when they are home.

Sorry, no pets allowed.

We also require a $75 cleaning fee for the studio for every reservation.

This is a small property, exactly as described. The location was good and close to many restaurants and shops. The upstairs guests were somewhat loud at times, but not significantly problematic. There were a few things that could’ve used repair but nothing that was disruptive. For the price, this is a good deal in the Mill Valley area. The small kitchenette was sufficient to make coffee and toast or other simple breakfast. The parking was not a huge issue for us, but the idea that you could park long-term on Miller Avenue is somewhat misleading, as there are very few available parking spots on that busy street.

I had a great stay at this cozy studio. The location is perfect, just a short walk to restaurants and coffee, and only about a 10–15 minute drive to Sausalito, which made it very convenient for my work week there. Lovely, quiet stay in an adorable neighborhood

My husband and I loved our stay here. The location was a perfect spot for us to easily hike the Muir Woods National Park, explore San Francisco, and also pop up to some wineries. We got married in Mill Valley, adopted our dog in Mill Valley, and are now back living here with 2 kids. I do marketing consulting for natural food and beverage companies and love to play tennis and hike. My husband is a software engineer who loves kite surfing and playing the drums. We have two boys who love to swim, and ride around with us on our bikes.
