I think it would've been nice to get a warning about the road getting down to the property. It was a long dirt/gravel road with lots of potholes and a bit steep. The ground was very wet, and I was concerned about not making up the road a couple times.
This place was amazing! The house is beautiful and the sound of the river is so relaxing. It rained most of our trip so we didn't use the fire pit, but the hot tub was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.Do not ignore the need for 4x4 in the rainy/snowy season. That driveway is CRAZY lol. But the privacy and the view is worth it!The master bedroom could use more storage, but we made do. And the grill was pretty rusty so we didn't use it. Neither of those things were a big deal though.

Beautiful home and property, very secluded and quiet location. Great getaway location close to hiking trails around Granite Falls.
Beautiful home at almost the end of a very long downhill gravel road. Hot tub was great. We had a question about the fancy shower, quick reply and very helpful. Kitchen could use a regular frying pan, the nonstick doesn’t work well. Overall, we loved it.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the area, though we are sorry the well water and hot tub impacted your experience. This home uses well water with a naturally high mineral content, which is noted in the Trip Manager. When the hot tub is treated with shock, the minerals in the water can react with the chemicals, temporarily causing discoloration before the clarifier clears it within a few hours. We understand this can be concerning for guests unfamiliar with well water, and we appreciate you sharing your experience. Your feedback will help us continue to better communicate this to future guests. We hope to welcome you back for a visit that feels more relaxing and worry-free.
Lovely stay for a few nights. We loved playing in the yard and the river.

Hi Chelcie, thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the location. We wanted to let you know that this home uses well water with a high mineral content, which is noted in the Trip Manager. After maintenance, the hot tub water can temporarily change color due to a reaction between the minerals and chemicals, but it typically clears up over time. Photos from the Trip Manager and the maintenance process are available to support this. We truly appreciate your input and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future!
We had a wonderful stay! The owners have taken great care in providing a wonderful place to share with others. It looks like almost all the previous complaints have been fixed or handled. The driveway was long, but not that steep and without any recent rain we had no issues getting non 4x4 's vehicles down there. My only suggestion would be maybe invest in a water softening system for the whole house. The mineral smell while showering was noticable. Thank you again for providing such a wonderful place to stay!
This house and location are perfect for a family retreat. After a careful exit off the highway to avoid a pothole we were ecstatic at the secluded location with its riverfront and firering location, yet still close to town for a quick grocery pickup. Close enough to several hiking trails when we did leave the site.
Fantastic stay, a little off the beat and path, but relatively easy to find.
Close to amenities that we required for a short stay, and no neighbours to bother us. Large yard was great to play around with the kids and a great outdoor set up for dinner and cocktails.
Recommend for a stay, would stay longer next time.
The stay was very nice and we all said we would stay here again. However, we were unable to use the hot tub because left open and it was filled with debris from, what I was told by the cleaners, the last visitors. Most of all I would recommend a water system for the house. When you turn the water on anywhere it smells like rust and we metal. But overall it was cozy and beautiful.

Peaceful location - fast WIFI
We spent three-days there and it was a good home base for visiting nearby family. Great yard and a nice house. It is a bit hard to find (though the check-in note gave some instructions) and it’s a pretty steep and bumpy road where you do probably need AWD in the summer and 4WD during the muckier seasons.
It has a nice kitchen, but not a great setup for making lots of meals due to not having a lot of pots, pans, or any cooking knives. If you plan on cooking a bunch there, I'd bring a chef's knife just in case.
It did have fast WIFI, which was appreciated for my content-creator son and I.

Hi, Tak. Thank you for sharing your thoughtful feedback with us. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the convenient location for visiting family, the lovely yard, and the house itself, as well as the fast WiFi. We appreciate your comments about the difficulty finding the property and the road conditions requiring AWD/4WD, along with the limited kitchen cookware. Your insights help us identify areas where we can improve to make future stays even better. We hope to welcome you back again soon!
My Son and I came to this cabin for a week and had a blast. The property is large and fun to play around in. The steamer shower is an awesome amenity. I had never used one and it was great. Be sure to bring marsh mallows and firewood. The fire pit near the river is perfect!
We spent a long weekend here with two other couples and our pups. Everyone had their own bathroom, which was such a nice feature. The linens and beds were clean and comfortable. There were plenty of towels, pillows, and blankets. The property is beautiful with tons of flowers and the yard is well maintained. We enjoyed the firepit by the river and soaked in the hottub. We needed a propane refill for the grill and they sent someone out quickly. The customer service team was great. All in all it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and I would book this house again!
The house is beautiful, and the location of the house is even better (nice river, large garden, forest).
Only downside I can come up with is that the house was not really clean, a lot of dog hair on the floor and in one of the beds.

Decent
It was a nice size house and the place was comfortable enough. We couldn’t use the wash machine which for a family is a bummer. They have a hard water issue so the wash would stain clothes, also when I went to have my boys take a bath the water was yellow. The view from the back yard was very pleasant and the river was very peaceful and a fun adventure for my kids. The Wi-Fi is a bit spotty as it’s definitely out there. The beds were comfortable. The house could use a few more cozy touches but overall a nice place and decent stay. My boys enjoyed the hot tub.

We hope to host you for another truly carefree and great vacation in the future!
The house and property are great! Being near the river was so nice. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. We were bummed not to be able to use the hot tub. The company was very prompt responding and getting it clean and refilled, however it was not ready for use by the time we left. The hard water was the trickiest part. We were not able to use the washer because the water stained the linens. The water came out yellow. There was a drinking water filter in the kitchen witch was great. We would stay there again. Summer time would be lovely there!

Great large place on the river
This property is wonderful. It is very spacious and nice and bright inside. The river is great although not the easiest to step down to. Little kids will need some assistance. Beautiful area and the fire pit is nice along with horseshoes over at the other end. Wifi is top notch but not much cell service. The beds are high quality and very comfy. Large kitchen with lots of stuff for cooking. Hot tub and steam shower worked. Great tv's in most of the rooms. We wish we could have stayed longer, such a relaxing place to stay.
