Lakefront luxury, in your backyard! Sandy Feet Retreat is located just 2 hours from Metro Detroit. The space has been professionally designed to be both functional and fun. With 5 bedrooms, two living rooms, plentiful outdoor seating, plus a huge indoor/outdoor game-cave, the home can accommodate up to 14 people! Our goal is to help you relax and unwind so you can make new life-long memories with your family and friends!

Fantastic stay!

Our stay at this property was nothing short of amazing! The home is beautifully decorated and feels like a private getaway with how secluded it is. The amenities were fantastic. Renee has all sorts of water boards, kayaks, children’s toys, and more for all ages to enjoy. The waterfront might be a little difficult for small children to access independently but otherwise it is a great time. Would definitely recommend and stay again!!

Perfect vacation

Property is just as it is pictured and described. Owner has everything you will need for your stay and more. Game room kept our teen grand kids entertained on cooler days. Owner is very responsive and answered all questions promptly. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation experience.

A fantastic weekend!

This home was truly wonderful! Incredibly clean and comfortable yet the decor was beautiful and everything felt new! Loved the evening sunsets and my morning tea on the deck. There were TONS of toys for all ages of our kids. It was so well equipped with everything you would need in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and every living space was so inviting. We will definitely be staying here again!

AMAZING GETAWAY!

We rented this for our wedding party for the weekend of our wedding and we absolutely loved it! Host was super attentive every day to make sure we were accommodated and to see if we needed anything. Even left us a congratulatory note with a couple bottles of wine. They made us feel at ease during our special weekend. Would DEFINITELY want to come back!

The beach was a little steep for the little ones to play and the ants all over the place were HORRIBLE. Everyone was getting bitten by them.

We understand that the beach is a little bit steep at the very bottom, that's why we have built stairs and put them leading to the water to make it more convenient for little ones to reach the lake and enjoy! We have had guests stay at the property every day this summer and have never heard anything about there being ants on the beach. I wish you had messaged us when you first experienced the issue, I could have had our pest company come out immediately to take care of it. We thank you again for staying with us and for leaving your review. We're glad you were able to enjoy the property with your group!

Family Vacation 2024

The house was wonderful and had everything we could need and more supplied. Plenty of things for the kids to do. The garage recreation room was an absolute bonus! The adults could play games at night and not worry about waking the kids up. A few items were broken in the toy shed, but can be expected in a rental. The slope to get down to the beach and down to the water was a little tricky but manageable. A great time was had by all! Would definitely consider coming back!
