Lovely rental blocks from downtown square

This is our second stay at this property. Beautiful neighborhood, walking distance of downtown square with its cool restaurants and shops. House is very comfortable, plenty of room for 8 people (two couples 4 adult and teen children) to visit with grandparents, either on porch or inside. Great communication from host. Love staying here!!

A diamond in the rough

The house was just what we needed. A quiet location for the babeis to sleep while the rest of the family prepared for and celebrated a wedding. Thanks for cute decorations and cleanliness to help us all feel comfortable. Location to The Square was also very convenient for celebrating.

We were visiting family for an "Old Fashioned Christmas" from the West Coast. The property was clean and cute, the host took time to put out some festive decor. We had one minor issue, but the host was very quick to communicate and offer to resolve the issue. Would definitely recommend this property.

The house was perfect for us. Love all the decorating and little touches. Such a charming older home. Had everything we needed. Will definitely recommend and rent again. Our family actually knew/knows the original owners of the house. Maybe remove the concrete border next to driveway, makes for a tight drive getting out of.

A perfect place

We stayed at Valerie’s place as a base for a small family reunion and introduction of one family member to Jacksonville. The space was perfect and very well appointed, very clean. Lots of room and comfortable furniture to spread to. We cooked and grilled, it was perfect. Beds and bedding are quite comfortable. Plenty of towels for showers. The location was great too. Close to MacMurray campus for a park like view and just steps from the Square for easy access to coffee shops, shopping, restaurant and bars. I will definitely try to stay here again when I come back to Jacksonville.

Granddaughter's Wedding

Everything was great but we didn't expect the stairs to be as challenging as they were. I'm 79 and my wife is 75. You might say don't go upstairs, but that's where the best bed and shower happens to be. Other than that, we couldn't ask for a better situation.
