The condo was beautiful and exactly as described. The location was a very short walk to the beach. The 3 king bedrooms with private baths were wonderful for our family trip. Sue communicated well with us and thought of so many extras in the condo. The kitchen was very well stocked and the porch was fantastic. We have already booked again for next year.

The property is close to everything on St. Simons Island--the beach is about a 2 minute walk, the village, light house, restaurants, shopping, the pier are all about 1 mile away. This was a family vacation consisting of my husband and I, our daughter, along with her husband and two sons, ages 7 and 9. The unit was set up in such a way that we all had our privacy with 2 bedrooms, each with it's own full bathroom, on one end of the unit, and the primary suite with private bath off of the main room. We cooked most of our meals and found that everything we needed was there when we needed it. Yes, we would return to the villa. In fact, our oldest grandson said "This is the Life!" on more than one occasion. We could not agree more.

Air conditioning did not work in main areas of the home. 80 degrees no matter what you set the thermostat to. Contacted the host number listed in the book. No response! It was miserable sweating. The windows do not let up and one of the ceiling fans would not work.

Our records show that we did not receive any phone call, text message, VRBO message or email regarding the air conditioning during your stay. Had we been notified, we would have responded immediately, as guest comfort is a top priority. After being contacted by VRBO following your departure, we had our licensed HVAC contractor inspect the systems (there are 2) and no issues were found with the air conditioning. We also were not notified of any concerns regarding the ceiling fan during your stay. We encourage guests to contact us directly through the VRBO platform or use the contact information provided in the home so we can promptly address any maintenance concerns while they are on the property. With more than 184 5 star reviews, this is the first review we have ever received that is negative. We remain committed to providing an exceptional experience for our guests and appreciate all feedback that helps us maintain our property.

Immaculate home with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Host thought if everything from beach towels to q-tips Fully stocked kitchen. Comfortable covered patio and large bedrooms and bathrooms. Very short walk to the beach. We enjoyed every minute!!!

We purchased the villa after looking in St. Simons for over a year. We then spent about three months furnishing it and decorating it and now would like to share it with others who love the Island and the Beach. We enjoy it on an occasional weekend (we only live about an hour in a half away). It is such a laid back, relaxing place to visit. You will love it!

Our villa is a reflection of the life we want to live someday when we retire..but its yours in the meantime! It is a place where our families love to share with others who love the charming and slower way of life on the Island. Family time is so important as well as the need to escape from the hectic real world.. to relax and rejuvinate! We insist!

What makes this property unique

Beach-going is a way of life on St. Simons Island. The ambient climate allows year-round enjoyment, so pick your pleasure: surfing, shelling, sunbathing, jogging, picnicing, fishing, bird watching, volleyball, biking, kayaking or swimming. There are a number of tours such as nature, driving and ghost tours available. There is also over a dozen art galleries in the downtown district that you will enjoy exploring. Drive to the north end of St. Simons Island and visit 1884 Christ Church, located on Frederica Road. Also visit the Epworth by the Sea Christian Conference Center, built in 1880, and the eighteenth-century Fort Frederica National Monument, which also has an interesting museum shop. Visit the 1872 St. Simons lighthouse and museum located in the center of the island. Climb its 129 steps to the top for a spectacular view of Jekyll Island and neighboring islands.
