Lux Downtown Flat with Gameroom & Fire Pit
Welcome to the Cypress Flats! This 2 bed, 2 bath flat has an open concept layout with high ceilings, exposed brick walls, and large windows that flood the space with natural light. The concrete floors and metal finishes create an industrial feel, and designer furnishings bring a touch of luxury to the space. There's also a game room in the lobby for added fun. Surrounded by trendy restaurants, bars, and shops, as well as cultural attractions. One block from parades & festival main stage.
The building was originally built around the 1940's and was owned by the United States Postal Service. It was renovated into 5 modern industrial apartments in 2022, that range in size and still has the DMS Mail Management sign in the exterior. The building includes a shared lobby/game room, a fully fenced back yard, and a parking lot. This apartment has 2 bedrooms with queen beds & TVs, 2 full bathrooms, a dining area, living room & full kitchen. It also includes a washer and dryer.
Entire private apartment. Lobby, parking lot & back yard are shared spaces with other guests in the building.

Downtown Lafayette, LA across from the Rosa Parks Center and one block from Jefferson Street.
Train station & bus stop located directly across the street. There is plenty to do on foot as well.
*The building is located across from the Rosa Parks center and train station in downtown Lafayette & is within walking distance of everything in the downtown area: coffee shops, restaurants, museums, nitelife, art walk, etc. It's located one block from the main stage for Festival Internationale, downtown live, etc. It's within 2 blocks of Mardi Gras parades. It's the perfect location for travelers to experience a little bit of our city.
*The preferred mode of travel here is Uber or Lyft. Bicycles work in the downtown area, and we do have a bike rack in the back yard. Bike rental is available at Hub City Cycles at 501 Jefferson St.
*Food delivery options: Doordash, Uber Eats. Grocery delivery: Shipt
*Within 1-2 blocks: Reve Coffee, Jim Deggy's Pizza & Brewery, Dyer's Cafe, Central Pizza, The Flats, Lafayette Science Museum, Children's Museum, Parc Sans Souci

Hi! I’m a realtor, house flipper, designer, host & mom to 5 crazy, amazing kids. Originally from Long Beach, CA & raised on a farm in S Louisiana, I definitely got the wanderlust gene. I love to travel & host people who visit, in fun spaces that I would want to stay in. Due to food allergies, our family has to have a kitchen when we travel. I design all of my spaces with this in mind.
