Located in the beautiful hills of Ashland City, Tennessee, just 30 minutes shy of Downtown Nashville sits the Eden Estate. The stunning 17 acre estate includes a private lake, vineyard & the Vintage Inn.
Formerly the home of beloved country star Mel Tillis, the Vintage Inn has been designed and remodeled to its full glory in 2022! Originally built in the late 1800’s as a log cabin, we’ve kept & restored the historical elements that make this place so unique, such as exposing the original logs and hand hung beams. The house has meticulous attention to detail & is equipped with a brand new, gorgeously designed chef’s kitchen (with a wet bar + coffee station), solid brass hardware, and a custom venetian plaster backsplash. All furnishings are carefully selected and sourced for a truly one of a kind living experience. Each bedroom is an ode to the nature that surrounds the property with curated, earthy themes & tones that are sure to invite a cozy nights’ sleep. Enjoy movie nights in our theatre room upstairs and family game nights in either of the two of our living spaces. * The listing is for the house only. The bridal suite and the pavilion rent out separately!*

Especially beautiful property and the home a perfect mix of modern conveniences and historic charm. A hummingbird joined us for coffee every morning and a belted kingfisher made a special appearance. My nephew discovered the biggest frog ever in the pond! We all so enjoyed time together which is what we chose this beautiful place for! Thank you for the opportunity! We will stay again if we have need to! Well appointed with all you could need , easy check in and out and a quiet oasis! Everything you could want !
Pictures are very deceiving. The yard, property and exterior of the house look as though the yard is rarely mowed. Poison ivy or oak growing up the sides of the house. Landscaping looks like it hasn’t been maintained at all. The inside was beautifully remodeled and clean. However, within an hour sounds of animals (squirrels, rats or raccoons) started in the ceiling joists above the living room and master bedroom. Host was unhelpful and requested evidence of the sounds. As if we drove 2.5 hours, paid almost 1,200, unloaded our belongings only to pack up and leave within an hour, and have to find alternative lodging 20 miles away. Right; it was all part of our scheme. VRBO should remove the property until it’s actually maintained.

We’re sorry this guest felt disappointed, but their review does not accurately reflect our property or how we handled the situation.
As the guest themselves mentioned, the house was immaculate inside — it had been thoroughly cleaned and prepared prior to check-in. Our grounds are also regularly maintained. The “ivy” they referenced is actually English ivy we intentionally planted to beautifully line the walkways.
A few hours after arrival, the guest called saying they heard a noise. We immediately asked for a quick video or recording so we could identify and address it, but none was ever provided. The guest left without canceling their reservation, and later filed a chargeback after the stay had technically ended.
We take great pride in caring for both the home and grounds, and the many positive reviews from other guests reflect that.
