Beautiful getaway

We so enjoyed our stay in the Acadian Rose! It's very comfortable, with fun retro touches. After braving the cold and wind, it was so nice to come back and relax - much better than a generic hotel room! The location was perfect for us too.

Checkin was supper easy. They had a basket with s’more’s and other snack’s they kids were super excited about! I didn’t them the place and they were so excited for packman it was played everyday! Beds were super comfortable. Everything really worked out perfectly for this trip.

Perfect stay down to every detail!

The Acadian Rose was a beautiful apartment. My kids begged me to book it when they saw the Ms. Pacman and pink retro theme, and it did not disappoint. We were so impressed by how well the style stuck to that theme with so many little details. The apartment was spacious, with a large and practical kitchen, comfortable bedroom, and nice sized bathroom. We visited Mount Desert Island every day during our trip, and although we were off the island, it was relatively easy and quick to get there. We have stayed at many vacation rentals before, and I think this one may have been our favorite.

Great stay!

This property was perfect for our family of four. It was just as pictured, very cute and comfortable. We loved feeling at home after a busy of day of hiking in Acadia. All the essentials we needed plus extras! We loved having a small outdoor space to read and relax in the evenings and the s’mores kit and blankets were a nice touch! Easy access to Walmart and grocery stores as well as downtown Ellsworth which had several restaurants and stores for shopping.

Great experience

This was one of the best maintained and cared for rentals we've been to. It is clearly taken care of well. The hosts communicated well and made sure we had everything we needed. It was a comfortable stay, and we'd stay here again with no concerns. The place is close to plenty of restaurants and is a less than half hr drive to bar harbor. The pond with ducks was an added fun thing to look forward to when getting going for the day.

The house was very clean, beautiful, and well equipped with all the necessary utilities. We stayed here for two nights with two kids while visiting Acadia National Park, and the location was very convenient. It is a very short drive from the house to Bar Harbor, which made getting around easy. We had requested an early check-in, and Alice graciously approved it, which we truly appreciated. We enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable throughout. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy for us to cook our own meals. There is also a small backyard, which looked nice, although we could not spend much time there due to the snowfall. Still, we enjoyed the snowy views from the house. During checkout, we had to request a late checkout because of a car accident the day before and the need to rent a new car from a location about an hour away. As soon as I mentioned the situation, Alice immediately agreed to the late checkout and even suggested local taxi services to reach the car rental place, which was incredibly kind and helpful. We would definitely recommend this house and would book it again if we plan to visit Acadia National Park in the future.

Lovely Retro

The location was perfect, quiet and a beautiful daily view of the ducks on property pond. So very soothing and peaceful. Love the vibe! Retro albeit current appliances and decor, so cool. Large bathroom with convenient spacious washer and dryer. Ooh, so comfortable beds! Only drawback, the flight of stairs to the cottage.was not mentioned. Thank you for the restful days at Acadia Rose!
