Location was perfect for getting to all things Hocking Hills. We loved the bedrooms and the privacy from the rest of the house. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck, hot tub, and fire pit!

Great location

This place is 4 minutes from Old Mans Cave, 12 minutes from Ash Cave. Great amenities. The house itself has a bit of a strange layout, but it worked for us. The kitchen is well-equipped. Some of the painted surfaces in the bathroom need attention.

What a treat! This cozy, well appointed home was a perfect place for a weekend getaway! It is conveniently located to great hiking spots (and other adventures, too!) but one could just stay "home" and have a wonderful time, too...A dip in the hot tub under the stars was a perfect way to end the day. Both an easy gas fire pit and real wood fire pit were ready for marshmallow roasting. (Hosts even provided s'more fixings!) Games, such as corn hole, were there for some friendly competition. There are loads of gathering places, both inside and out, and also a front and side porch with seating if one needed a little personal get-away time. The back yard is large and gives one a sense of privacy when enjoying outdoor activities.We brought food for most of our meals (The large kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, plus there is a gas grill outside.) but with Grandma Faye's 1/2 mile away, one could easily not bring a thing and just eat out. I would definitely recommend checking 'Take it Easy' out!

Perfect

Entire living area’s were perfect, all beds were comfortable. Thoughtfulness was put into common everyday essentials we need. Spacious property with perfect backyard area for gathering and games. Very peaceful. Hosts were welcoming and available. Hiking area’s were nearby and convenient to get to. Le Petit Chevalier Vineyards was beautiful and a favorite for our visit. Wine is excellent and grounds have flowers, hummingbirds and butterflies that were very enjoyable to see. We also enjoyed Old Man Cave General Store for the 22+ soft serve ice cream we visited twice. Everything in the listing for this property is there and more.

This property was perfect for our trip in every way and my biggest regret was not having more time to spend here. Location for Hocking Hills and all the surrounding activities was excellent. A 10 - 15 minute ride gets you to about anywhere and everywhere you want to go.The house was very nicely decorated and had all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The layout was great as the bedrooms were isolated from common areas so sleepers could sleep. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, (2) Fire Pits, Gas Grill, Big Screen TVs, and a Hot Tub really give the guests a chance to “Take it Easy”. The owners obviously care about the experience of their guests. Excellent communication and Check In/Out was very simple. One nicely sized full bath was great for our stay of 2 but a larger group will have to do a little bathroom planning.All in all, for the 3 days we stayed here, I would have considered this home. Thanks again for caring about your customers. Already recommended your place to my hiking crazy cousin. If we ever get back to Hocking Hills, this home will be the reason why.
