This property is serviced by a licensed pest control company every two months, and we take pest-related concerns very seriously. Following your message after checkout, we immediately had the home professionally inspected. The result: no evidence of bed bugs or any infestation. The photo you submitted was blurry, showed a large white insect, and was clearly not a bed bug. It more likely originated from one of your dogs, which were found to have been sleeping in the beds, as documented by our housekeeping team—despite this being a violation of our house rules. You mentioned your daughter was bitten after the first night, yet remained in the property for the full duration of your stay. No concerns were reported during that time. Instead, we received your first message after checkout, accompanied by a demand for a full refund and a warning that you would leave a negative review if one was not granted. All mattresses at our properties are fitted with AllerEase encasements and topped with additional mattress protectors. These are used to protect against allergens and to maintain cleanliness—especially important when guests disregard posted policies about pets on furniture. The pool safety gate is shown in our listing photos and complies with local code to protect children. Our yard and outdoor areas are maintained regularly, the yard is green and trimmed in the videos of your dogs romping through the yard. The hose and plumbing were both tested before and after your stay and found to be fully functional. We welcome constructive feedback, but we will correct the record when reviews contain inaccurate, exaggerated, or retaliatory claims—especially those tied to refund demands.
