Northeast South Bend, a neighbourhood in South Bend, is home to this holiday home. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Rum Village Park and Brandywine Creek Nature Park, while South Bend Regional Museum of Art and South Bend Civic Theater are cultural highlights. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Notre Dame Stadium or Compton Family Ice Arena.
Rooms were clean and the home was well-prepared for guests. It worked great for us as it was close to the ND campus. The Murphy Bed worked great for our 14 year old.
Good stay. Walking distance to the campus was nice. Loved the supply of k-cups for the keurig. Wish there were curtins on the windows and lamps in the house/rooms. Only lighting was what was overhead. Would stay again if needed.
Location is great for visiting Notre Dame. My son and I stayed 3 nights and it was perfect for our visit to Notre Dame. House was as described. The only down side was the musky smell inside the residence.
Great lil place to call home for a few weeks, it was clean and cozy. We would definitely come back and stay here if we are back in the area. 5 stars for this property
The house was accurately described and presented in the listing. It's in a wonderful location and is a great value for the price charged. We will say there again.
Adult children and grandparents all came for graduation and this house was a perfect location: a block away from Trader Joe’s and an easy walk to campus. The house was clean, everything was in excellent working order, and the instructions to check in and check out were perfectly clear. Thank you!
We enjoyed our recent stay very much.
The owner was communicative and accommodating and also went above and beyond to welcome us. The house was as described or better with nice touches like a spice rack, soap, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer. Plenty of very nice quality towels also.
The house had plenty of street parking and was walking distance from Eddy Street Commons and the University of Notre Dame campus. We would easily recommend this house and hope to return soon ourselves!
First time stay. House was as pictured. The only thing to mention was grass in back yard in need of a cut. There had been rain recently so not a complaint, just an observation.
We would have liked to give this home top stars but it went down first day with cobwebs at the doorway mailbox, and that it said it was 3 bedroom and we only found 2 bedrooms, and we found our bed to be uncomfortable .We liked the home but it had some ants by the kitchen window, and by the time we left early there had been over 15 spiders and we were overwhelmed with flies, which seemed to come from vents. The host was nice and he was surprised, so he nicely allowed us to leave with a one day refund so he could handle the issues. As long as the problems were resolved it is a fine home for visiting the area and college.

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Great location, no frills rental
Stayed here with my 77-yo dad and teenage son for a game weekend. The upside is location. It is just past Trader Jones’s and walkable to campus and game! (We had bundle tickets that came with a parking pass but didn’t use the parking pass because it ended up being far easier to just walk from the VBRO.) As for the rental, it is as described- two bedrooms, one bath, which were great (teenager slept on couch). The dining room set oddly was not useable, as the chairs are too tall for the table and you can’t fit if you sit in them. But the couch and chair were good. It was very functional.
