Excellent property and stay
My girlfriend, and I enjoyed our stay at this property! The property was extremely cozy, and very homey. The place was very well-kept, and every detail was thought of to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Carolyn and Bob were available at all times for any questions or concerns during our stay! Would recommend this property to anyone and will be using them again when we come back to the area!

Comfortable with a historic flair
Lovely space with many amenities. Hosts have thought of everything. We didn't need to buy anything. There are window air conditioning units in the second floor bedrooms but not downstairs. Fans kept the downstairs comfortable. Although it seems far out, it's close to UNH and grocery. It can be hard to see and I missed the turn a couple of times. The trick is to turn right after the 50mph sign. We enjoyed our stay very much.

About the host

Hosted by Carolyn Guillette

Host profile image
I am a New Hampshire native, while Bob grew up in Connecticut. We are dog lovers and have found it difficult to find clean and cozy options for travel. At the same time, the majority of our guests remain dog free. We have been on the Seacoast for over 20 years and feel that our property is a great launching pad for the ocean, mountains and the historic NH seacoast.

Why they chose this property

Spacious and clean accommodations with bedrooms on the second level, a distance away from the living space.
Expansive outside space with a fenced patio and fir pit for children's safety of dogs. There is a separate raised deck in the private back yard with a grill and dining accommodations.

What makes this property unique

Dog friendly with all the amenities a dog lover would want.
The indoor space is quite spacious with the bedroom spaces separate from the living space. The outdoor space for enjoying the seasons within this listing are plentiful. There are miles of open space and woodland hiking across the street. These trails run along the Bellamy River and are maintained by the University of New Hampshire.
Within a 10-20 minute ride you could be boarding the Northeaster train for Boston or Portland, visiting the historic seaport town of Portsmouth or rounding the corner on a seaside winding road in Rye. At the end of the day you are nestling into a comfortable, country setting for a peaceful evening under the stars.
