The High Lonesome Lodge is luxury lodge in the Hochatown area. Bring the entire family for a relaxing getaway at the High Lonesome. The High Lonesome Lodge is nestled in a grove of pine trees; it features hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, and a large rock fireplace. It is beautifully decorated with western red cedar furniture and western accents. With 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths it is very accommodating to a couples retreat or a large family. There is something for everyone at the High Lonesome. Cook a gourmet meal in the spacious kitchen or step out to the deck and grill up some steaks after a long day of sight-seeing, hiking, biking, or fishing. Enjoy a movie, cuddle in front of the fireplace in the living room, or enjoy a game of pool in the loft. The kids will love feeding the catfish in the stocked pond. At the end of the day, relax and stargaze in the 8 person hot tub. Your stay at High Lonesome will be one you won't soon forget!

A little bit of everything

This cabin was great. We fished. Played on the playground. Played billiards and a few video games. And sat by the fire. Highly recommend this gem.

NYE Getaway

We had 4 adults and 4 children that were between the ages of 1-5. The cabin was perfect and the outdoor area had SO many activities to entertain everyone.

Our stay

The only thing was the first night the refrigerator didn't cool maybe because it was just turned on before we got there I dont know. The upstairs t.v. didn't work. We cant check in till 4 and have to be out by 11 so you dont even get a whole 48 hrs but other than that it was great also the menus in the book are out of date the restaurant we called disnt have half the stuff we asked for.

This is a beautiful cabin. Very Clean and lots of privacy. Loved the large hot tub and fire pit. Easy access to cabin and close to all the happening places. More lighting around hot tub and area near fire pit would make this place even better. Overall we had a wonderful time. We will definitely rent this cabin again.

Great accommodations! We really enjoyed our time. We were visited by mama & daddy geese with babies as well as deer as they came to enjoy the pond. Enjoyed making s’mores and just hanging out. Great location- close to Grateful head pizza which we also highly recommend.

“70” Birthday Celebration with Family “

Great time, great accommodations & beautiful environment! Loved Buffalo Grill, enjoyed The Landing Casino & many sites to see & enjoy. We put the nice grill outside to use & thanks for the propane. Caught some brim from the pond, enjoyed the hot tub. Best part was seeing All the deer up close surrounding our cabin!!!

Beautiful and relaxing

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Our son loved the playground and all the kids loved the loft and pool table. The kitchen was very good size and well utilized while we were there Everyone loved the hot tub which was very nice and clean Location is secluded and quiet with a quaint pond. We recommend the safari drive thru wildlife park! It was awesome

Family Retreat

A beautiful property with its own pond for fishing with the grandkids. Nature at its best. Outside games and a nightly fire pit were a perfect way to recharge!

It’s been 5 months and my kids have not stopped asking when we get to go back

I can’t believe I didn’t leave a review earlier. I actually logged on to share the booking with someone and saw I had not left a review yet. This place was so beautiful! We had the best time! Honestly didn’t even need to leave the cabin to have fun. We had my boys, 4 and 7, my spouse and I, my parents, my grandmother and Aunt who are both disabled. Fun was had by all! We fished, did s’mores by the fire, star gazed. 10/10 recommend.

Great Stay Overall

It was a great stay overall. The cabin was exactly as pictured and is in a great location. One thing I would recommend is bringing groceries from home if you are planning on cooking. There is really only one grocery store in Broken Bow. Also, the road leading up to the property is full of potholes so beware.

Lovely Cabin

We had a great time staying at this cabin. It was very clean, comfortable and had all the supplies we needed. Enjoyed the little pond beside it, the fire pit, swing set for our little grandson and the other outdoor games. Location is very good and easy to get to. Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing family cabin

This place was lovely. Great for vacation and get togethers. Lots of wildlife to see. Comfortable beds. The futon is not king size nor could we imagine more than one person sleeping there. Very close to so many activities! The roads are definitely rough - be aware! Nice and quiet, AC worked great! Family had so much fun, would certainly come back!

Going home

After 33 years i returned home to Idabel. I wanted to show my kids were i grow up, and were i spent ever summer until i left. Beaver bend has so many wonderful memories. This house is now another wonderful memory to add. My kids 11, and 14 learned to play pool. Now have asked since we left to go somewhere to play. Walking in on day one it was so inviting, and clean. It really has everything you need. From all the kitchen things you need, and some you didn’t know you needed. To a grill ready to go, firepit with wood, fun back yard games, and privacy. The beds are so comfy i didnt want to get up, and made mornings hard to get the kids out of bed. My teenager feel in love with hot tub, and loved the shower pressure so much she fell asleep. I do have to say beware or the frogs/ toad frogs they talk. My daughter freaked us out bc she swore someone was outside talking. They did seem to talk. We made out several funny things. We are looking forward to make this our home away from for summer getaways.
