It was a lovely stay, no complaints other than the AC leaking on the corner of the bed. The owner was communicative but no one was able to come fix the AC during the stay. Thankfully it was still cool out!
This property fit our needs perfectly. We were visiting Pittsburgh for a baseball game and live theater show. The location was awesome and very convenient to downtown Pittsburgh.
Everything was clean and ready for us when we got there, check in was easy and neighborhood was safe. Fair warning to others, the neighborhood is hilly so be prepared if you are planning to walk anywhere!
We stayed 2 nights at this cute studio apartment! The location is great, short uber ride to Southside or downtown! We had our 2 dogs with us, and they were content while we were there. There is a small grassy area just outside the door, enough space for dogs to use. The bed is super comfortable and the studio is quiet and cozy. Will definitely come back when visiting Pittsburgh!
This place suited my wife and I perfectly! Everything we needed, super clean, and ccomfortable. We enjoyed the close proximity to restaurants and shopping... and the Duquesne Incline is 5 minutes away! The street was quiet at night, and parking was a breeze! Also, great ommunication with the owners, who were willing to provide anything we needed. If this place is available when we return to Pittsburgh, we will definitely stay again! Thanks so much!!
I had to be in Philly on Monday May 8th , I am from the great state of Texas so I took the opportunity to see a ballgame at PNC ballpark . This property was perfect location to accessing downtown or the ballpark . It’s walking distance to the Duquesne Incline ( WOW ) what a view ! You can even take the incline ride down , walk across the bridges to North Shore & Downtown . Steel Mill Saloon & other Restaurants with-in walking distance . Very clean & comfortable property , it’s perfect for a solo trip or couple people . As someone who travels using VRBO I highly recommend this place for a visit to beautiful Pittsburgh. The owners / host communicate & respond quickly making you feel assured they want you to enjoy your visit. Thanks ( Hook’em Horns )
The apartment is nice and well appointed - appliances are recent. Bed was comfortable. Everything in the apartment is in excellent condition. It's a walkout basement apartment but there is plenty of windows and light. This is a GREAT location if you want access to downtown Pittsburgh, and the best view of the city is at the end of the street. The 40 bus is a 1/2 block from the property and goes right past the convention center. You can also walk to the incline (5mins) and several buses into the city stop at the bottom incline station. If you use the PRT app, you can buy a e-ticket that's good for three hours and will work on both the incline and the buses. During the week there is almost no wait for the incline. Weekends are a longer wait (tourism). There are several places to eat an drink right near the upper incline station.
This is an adorable place to stay! Came into Pittsburgh to watch a baseball game and for the 3 River Arts Festival. I was able to park right in front of the house! The first day we walked to the Incline. It is a tough walk with some big hills! We did it, but the next day we drove and parked at the bottom of the Incline. We purchased all-day passes to the Incline which also works for the subway. We rode the Incline up and had lunch, then came back down and rode the subway into the city. A much better way to get around than the first day! The place itself was perfect. Had all the amenities we needed. Was really clean, great water pressure, and private! Has a lot of natural light too! One warning, be careful of the bed frame at the foot of the bed. It's hidden by the comforter and I walked into it multiple times...it hurts! :) Overall, a great place. You won't be disappointed!

Disliked: Cleanliness
Pretty Disappointed
I'll state first and foremost I have a difficult time staying places in general. If something isn't super clean, it messes with me mentally and I become uncomfortable and stressed. I acknowledge that is a "me" thing. When my husband and I arrived at this VRBO, I had high hopes it would be clean and a convenient stay because of its location & being a fairly new listing. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The area rug in the main area had hair, crumbs and dirt on it. The tiled floor also looked unswept (which I ended up finding a broom in the shared laundry space to clean myself, no big deal). The comforter had the type of stain on it that made me question whether or not its been washed recently. But all of these things are fixable. I reached out to the owner of the property at 10pm when we got there - not expecting any response till the morning. Surprisingly, they responded pretty quickly, which was great! But the response wasn't the type you'd hope for. I brought up the concerns and offered solutions to fix on my own, asking for a vacuum that I could use the next day, inquiring about whether the comforter would fit in the washer/dryer, and how to use the air conditioner that didn't seem to be working. The response came across as defensive and unhelpful, as they shared that the guests that had just left had a great experience. It can be difficult to gauge anyone's tone via text, so maybe it was misread.
But we decided to pack up night and leave, staying with family instead.

This is the most absurd review based on zero actual proof I have ever read. First to clarify the laundry room is NOT a shared space. The reason I responded to you within 4 minutes of you reaching out at 10 PM is because we care a lot about our guests. I offered to come and even send a cleaner to bring a vacuum. I offered to bring you a new comforter. You stopped responding to me. I asked you multiple times for pictures. You never sent any. I can only assume this was the weirdest ploy to get a refund I have ever experienced. I truly don’t know what I could have done differently that would have made you happy.
