This one-bedroom ground floor apartment is in the Ocotillo Lodge, the famous Mid Century Modern Palm Springs landmark known for its fabulous huge champagne cork shaped pool. The bedroom has a California king-size bed, and the living room has a leather couch , and a comfortable powered leather recliner.

The condo is designed for comfort and features a full kitchen , bathroom, living and dining room and private patio. After a day enjoying the many activities in Palm Springs, relax and enjoy a movie at home (blu ray or DVD) on one of the flat screen smart TVs. The apartment has floor to ceiling windows which showcase the outdoors with its beautiful mountain views. The kitchen has coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, kettle, blender, mixer, microwave, as well as a good selection of pots, pans, containers, glasses and dinnerware.

The gorgeous bathroom has a stepless glass shower, with European rain shower and an extra hand held sprayer.

Enjoy cooking outdoors? The private patio includes a propane barbeque.

As well as the famous pool, The Ocotillo has two hot tubs/spas. The grounds are beautifully planted with desert vegetation and cactus, and the main clubhouse has a full gym and pool tables, as well as a lounge area with grand piano that looks out over the pool. Adjacent to the pool is a barbeque area with charcoal grills. Conveniently located walking distance from downtown, and just over a block from Ralph's supermarket,, with Elmer's restaurant just across the road, if you need to eat now!.

Private 100Mb internet is included, and can be used wireless or wired.

The Ocotillo Lodge is a non smoking facility. Smoking is not allowed anywhere.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo in the Ocotillo Lodge. The bed was comfortable and the unit was clean. Toiletries were provided, and the location was great. I enjoyed morning walks with great views of the sun on the mountains. Pool and hot tubs were welcoming and never crowded. Check-in and out easy with good communication w/ property manager and the owner. Would stay here again!

We really enjoyed staying at Ocotillo Lodge. It's close but not too close to downtown and the apartment was neat and clean with lots of little touches that were appreciated. I enjoyed the pool and the hot tub and was pleased to find that our host had left beach towels and suntan lotion for us! Plan to come again!

Great Mid Century Place Close to Everything

We’ve stayed here before and loved it. Unit has everything you need and then some. The property has two hot tubs and a fabulous pool. If you look around, there is a lot of history in the complex. We look forward to our next visit.

Excellent accommodations

From start to finish our experience with the unit was outstanding. Easy booking online, great owner and property manager communication. Location was ideal for exploring Palm Springs or surrounding area. The unit itself was even more impressive once we arrived than I was expecting. Very comfortable, fully equipped, with great inclusion of local magazines and books. Kitchen had everything you need, and bathroom - spacious!! and modern. Only downside is having to depart. Highly recommend ... unless it is for the dates I want to return :-)

We live in Edmonton Alberta, which is icy cold in the winter. We couldn't resist getting a place somewhere warm, and really liked Palm Springs We want to share our getaway with others, when we can't be there.

Love Palm Springs & love the architecture and history of the Ocotillo Lodge. Really enjoy the floor to ceiling windows in our apartment - makes you feel closer to the outdoors!

What makes this property unique

The condo is on the main floor, and close to parking, so access is easy. The private patio is a lovely place to relax if you don't want to be out by the pool.
Downtown Palm Springs is just a short distance away, and Smoke Tree Commons shopping area is just a couple of blocks down the street, great for groceries and snacks.
