My family traveled to New Orleans and stayed at this property to celebrate my mother’s birthday. In terms of location, it was convenient to the city, French Quarter, Bourbon Street & all popular attractions. My family had adequate place for living & sleeping & we were comfortable with our accommodations overall.
In terms of inconvenience, there was a shared driveway & the shotgun style of this home created an uneven distribution of heat making the 1st room in the house coldest & the back room in the house the warmest. The property owner had some additional rules & guidelines that were displayed in the house such as, no smoking signs in every room of the house and additional fees listed for damaged linens etc. that were a bit offputting. I have stayed in Vrbo properties in the past that have been better in terms of having supplies like coffee & laundry detergent available for guests to use. Unfortunately we weren’t afforded this luxury this time. The only things we would have liked were some plates, napkins, additional paper towels & cleaning supplies in the kitchen. A Keurig also would’ve been preferable for our coffee needs. The coffee maker provided did not function properly. I informed the owner of this, but they did not seem receptive to my feedback although they asked for it. Overall, I will give this property 3.5 out of five stars. We enjoyed our trip and we were comfortable, but because I’ve had better experiences & I would not stay here again.
