Such a great place. Convenient location-downtown Norfolk, Williamsburg, Yorktown, James Town, but best is the beach! We had trouble with air conditioning and the problem was solved immediately. Very responsive. We had three beautiful bedrooms and 2 big baths. We enjoyed the porch and grilling. The washer and dryer were a huge plus. I would totally recommend this house!
This adorable home is very roomy and decorated with beach decor. It is located on a very busy road but we were able to walk across it and get onto the beach through a couple of different pathways. We discovered a fun and tasty restaurant called The Willoughby Fish House and we walked to the Ocean View Pier. It was a busier location than we were expecting but we had no trouble with feeling safe or getting a good night’s sleep.
We had a great stay. Keeping my mom in a place with one floor was wonderful. There are step downs as you walk into both bathrooms (and one bedroom). The road in front of the house is extremely busy. The house needs some updates but everything was clean and homey. The house was clean, the owners were quick to respond, we basically had a private beach, and the place was a great stay.
We enjoyed our stay at this house in Willoughby. It was easy to find and access and had the perfect amount of space for our group of 5 adults. The furnishings were pretty dated and a bit mismatched, but it was fine for us. Luckily we had brought a few kitchen items with us, because the assortment provided is a bit random and not all inclusive. If you are planning on doing a significant amount of cooking or prepping of food, might be something to consider. Otherwise, location is great and I highly recommend!
