About this property
Riverfront Chalet with Spectacular View in Cascade Mountains of Stevens Pass
Nestled along Washington's Skykomish River your waterfront lodge awaits, with floor-to-ceiling windows lending breathtaking views of flowing water and Cascade Mountain peaks. While only an hour from Seattle and 30 minutes to Stevens Pass Ski Resort, you will experience all the benefits of complete escape. Hiking, Skiing, Snowboarding, Snowshoeing, River Rafting, Fishing, Rock Climbing, Mountain Biking, Bird Watching and Scenic Driving all within our surrounding areas.
Our riverfront home boasts vaulted ceilings with rustic timber beams, knotty-pine walls, and cozy stone fireplaces. Relax your cares away in well separated bedrooms with luxurious down pillows, comforters, featherbeds and linens. You will enjoy a fully equipped open kitchen, three bathrooms and complimentary eco-friendly supplies. The house is well suited for a vast range of guests and is as charmingly cozy as it is grand.
Our mountain retreat will serve as the perfect 'home-base' to enjoy all this exquisite region of the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Relax on the deck to immerse yourself in the surroundings and observe native wildlife in action...eagles soaring, fish swimming and hummingbirds feeding to name a few. Spend your evenings toasting marshmallows and telling stories gathered round the outdoor riverside firepit. During the day, walk out the door and down on the river bed to cast your line into what is known among avid steelhead fishermen as one of the best spots on the river! Skiing, snowboarding and the like can be found at The Summit of Stevens Pass. Hit the trail and marvel at the breathtaking Lake Serene or hike through nearby Wallace Falls State Park to hear the roar of its majestic 265-foot cascading waterfall. Thrill seekers will enjoy climbing the rocky face of Mt. Index, or rafting the rapids of our very own Skykomish River. For a beautiful drive and unique experience, head to the Bavarian village of Leavenworth for a day. If you fancy wine, enjoy an afternoon in Woodinville Wine Country to see and taste an array from over 75 wineries, both large and small.
Meanwhile, those who embrace simpler pleasures will drift quietly into serenity, surrounded by the thoughtful comforts and full amenities of the home. Enjoy quiet moments with a good book in a uniquely hand carved rocking chair overlooking the river and mountain range. Gather round the dining table for an afternoon puzzle or laugh-out-loud evening of board games. Gaze at the stars while toasting marshmallows and telling stories around the riverside firepit. Lay quietly at night and be lulled to sleep by the soothing sounds of the rushing river. Our lodge is accommodating and friendly to kids, senior-citizens and everyone in between! Enjoy a family vacation, friends getaway, special occasion or business retreat. In any case, your expectations will surely be exceeded. Whether it's restful relaxation or activity filled excitement you seek, you've found your destination. You will leave with a happy heart, peaceful mind and priceless memories.
