Spacious family-friendly chalet w/fenced dog run & large deck near the lake/Wisp

Welcome to Parks and Deck, our centrally located, dog friendly chalet with filtered lake views just 1/4 mile from the lake! Wisp Ski Resort and Deep Creek Lake State Park are both within a 10 minute drive. After a day of adventures, relax on the deck or cuddle up in front of the fireplace with a good book and a glass of wine. Our fully-stocked kitchen is ready for you, but Brenda’s Pizza and other restaurants are just minutes away. Games, a fenced in dog run, and a pack n play are available too!

The space
Enter the house through the front yard, which is a fenced in dog run for your furry companions. Walk into the kitchen which is stocked with all the gadgets you’ll need to whip up a meal including a full set of pots and pans, baking ware, kitchen aid mixer, and a dual drip/single serve coffee maker. The den/living area next to the kitchen has a day bed with two twin mattresses (the bottom one pulls out). The great room has open concept living and dining, and filtered lake views out over the deck. Step onto the huge back deck (the full length of the house) which is also fenced, and enjoy a meal or sit by the fire. There are a couple couches and chairs in the living room in front of the gas fireplace, along with a TV with a DVD player (we stock lots of movies!) and a Roku with sound bar. On your way to the main floor primary bedroom with en suite bathroom and walk in closet, indoor and outdoor games are stocked, including a Ms. Pac-Man arcade unit.

Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms, one king and one queen, which each have their own closet and dresser and smart TV.

The house has high speed Xfinity wifi, and there are desks in the primary bedroom and upstairs king bedroom - great for remote/telework.

For families, we have a pack n play, high chair, and children’s dinner ware on hand. We have two small step stools, one on each floor to help little ones reach the sinks if needed.

NOTE: 4 wheel drive and/or chains are REQUIRED in winter months. There is a steep gravel road that leads up to the house.

A unique secure smart lock code will be provided prior to check in. There is parking for 4-5 vehicles in the circular driveway in front of the house.

There is a steep hill and gravel road leading to the house, so 4 wheel drive or chains are required in the winter months.
