Situated just under 1 mile from the downtown plaza, and 1/2 block off Spring St., this charming 900 sq. ft. guesthouse provides the perfect getaway for those looking to explore all that Paso and SLO County have to offer. The spacious corner lot and huge shared backyard provide a sense of peace and quiet, while access to highways 101 & 46 - and a huge shopping center - are just minutes away.
The space
Our guesthouse is comprised of one bedroom with a new queen bed, one full bathroom, a sitting room with sofa, full kitchen, and a full-sized sofa sleeper, accommodating up to four people comfortably. Feel free to do your own meal preparation, or walk 1/2 block east to Joes Place, a fantastic breakfast/lunch spot. The downtown plaza is about a 15 minute stroll north on Spring St.
Guest access
The detached guesthouse is located just behind the main home where we live, but has a separate gated entrance and fence providing extra privacy.

From the moment we confirmed our booking until the day we checked out, our experience with this VRBO property was absolutely top-notch. The listing promised a space that felt like a home away from home, and it delivered just that, mirroring the online photos and descriptions to a T. Upon arrival, we were greeted by an impeccably clean living space that welcomed us to unwind in comfort. The check-in process was a breeze, thanks to the clear, concise instructions from our host—who, by the way, deserves a special shout-out for their stellar communication. They were quick to respond, friendly, and incredibly helpful, ensuring our stay was smooth sailing from start to finish. We found ourselves in the heart of convenience, nestled in a neighborhood brimming with fantastic dining options, all just a stone's throw away. Yet, the VRBO managed to maintain a tranquil vibe, shielding us from the hustle and bustle and allowing us to savor our peaceful retreat. Every amenity we could have needed was at our fingertips, functioning perfectly and adding to the ease of our stay.
