About this property

La Legnania - Tiny house with sauna

La legnaia is a welcoming tiny house, obtained from the renovation of the wood storage attached to the main villa. A small space ready to provide you with all its comforts and its wonderful lake view.
Inside you will find a double bedroom with kitchenette and living room. The private bathroom is enriched with a Finnish sauna for the exclusive use of guests.
In summer you can enjoy the private terrace and access to the lake through the communal gardens.

The space consists of a single room with bed, kitchen and dining area. A bathroom, that connects directly to the private sauna, is attached. A terrace is present at the entrance, equipped with table, chairs and umbrella. Every corner of the house offers a wonderful lake view.

From the street you enter the property through the main entrance of the villa. From here you walk through the gardens to get to La Legnania which is independent from the other houses in the complex. From the common gardens you can also get to the lake for a dip.

There is also a private garage available for guests to store their car. The garage is not located inside the property, but only 200 meters from it. The car can be temporarily left on the side of the road, in front of the house, while you unload your luggage.

A private berth is available to dock a boat. You will be able to explore the lake without moving the car. We can help arranging a boat rental.

Why they chose this property

Carate Urio is one of the most beautiful villages on the lake, or at least we think so!

It is close to Como and Cernobbio if you are interested in visiting them and the ferry and bus stops are just two minutes walk away.

Nevertheless some bars and restaurants that we recommend are located nearby.

From Carate Urio you can venture out on wonderful walks and trekking.
