About this property

Forest City FootHills Retreat

Beautiful home, just off the beaten (driveway) path in Forest City. We welcome large groups of at least 12 guests.
This two-story home is in Forest City NC and is situated in the foothills of the Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. The town is interconnected by three US highways, 74, 221, 64, and one state highway 108. Forest City is only 15 minutes away from the Tryon International Equestrian Center and soon to be Tryon AVA wine region.
The home has a semi open floor plan with a spacious kitchen/living/dining room area. The kitchen is stocked with cookware and dinner ware for 12 persons. The living room has comfortable furniture to lounge on, along with a large screen tv and gas fireplace. The dining room seats 6 and if you need more space there’s an outdoor (two picnic tables) dining set and a gas grill that will seat 12 guest.

Gather used towels and place in the bathrooms floor. Don’t strip the beds. Throw trash away in the outside bins. Turn things off (lights/TV/fans).
Check under the bed for any belongings you might have left behind. Dirty dishes loaded into the dishwasher would be greatly appreciated.
Please place all yard games back in the Primary Bedroom storage closet (the horseshoe set will remain outside).

Wedding Weekend

This was a great house to have a small family reunion for an upcoming wedding. Beds comfortable and accommodating for both couples as well as singles/kids.Loved being away from crowds but at the same time it was only a short drive into town.

Amazing stay in North Carolina

We had a great stay in this house! We had a large group who were all arriving a different times, so the self-checkin process was very important and it went seamlessly. The property is well-kept, spacious, and with beautiful landscape. Bryant was incredibly easy to reach from start to finish! The location is not too far from charlotte, about 1 hr and we went to Asheville a couple of times (about 1 hr away). We were very happy with this stay :)

Everything we asked for and more!

Clean, accommodations just as implied, comfortable beds and furnishings. Completely relaxing. I had my morning coffee outside near the fire pit, overlooking a meadow. Anything you might need from a 6-device charging station, assorted Keurig coffee pods, sugar and Half & Half, spices, bottled water, condiments, laundry detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets

Sons wedding

The house was awesome. Owner communicated well with us. They even added extra touches which was very nice. Mattresses were very comfortable, weather was wonderful. They had a highchair for the baby but didn't see the travel crib listed. Its ok we brought a pack n play anyway. Thank you again. Had an awesome experience.
