Forest City NC - Thermal Rail Trail

Awesome Cottage!!!

We came to Forest City to watch our son pitch for the Forest City Owls. The cottage was the perfect size, the beds were very comfortable and it was very quiet as well as close to everything in town. The owner, Lori, was very easy to work with and very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again if our son plays for the Owls next summer.

Great property in Forest City. Have stayed multiple times at this property and # 357 next door. Home is always clean and owner Lori is great to deal with. Will always check availablity at these rentals first when traveling to this area.

Relax & Enjoy

Very Clean & Quite area to stay in! Met the owner at our arrival to get a walk through in case we had any questions. Close enough to town that we left our vehicle and walked the area which gave us time to walk off some of the treats we ate. Lined up a Carriage Ride through the Internet which was was very enjoyable to see town while someone else did the driving. Highly recommend this location, we will be going back again.

Property exactly as pictured…actually, even better in person. Such a cute place. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need. The most impressive part was the cleanliness!! I could go on and on and on….and on!! Not a speck of dust. The bathrooms were spotless!!! The kitchen looked like it had never been used. I usually like my towels to smell of Clorox when at a rental…but theirs smelled like fresh laundry from home and it was really nice. I know, I’m a weirdo. Lol! Great rental, lovely owners. ☺️

Cottage was perfect for our stay, clean and comfortable. There is a very busy road out front and one night we unfortunately had some loud talkers in the parking lot next to the cottage. However everything else was ideal and we would stay there again!

Nice Apartment-convenient location

1st time visiting Forest City. The rental was perfectly located for the events we were scheduled to attend. Unit was clean, updated (if not brand new). Parking was plentiful but a unique layout. Would highly recommend this property to other visitors.

This fit the needs for my wife and I and our son. We were in town for the Dixie Grand and this was perfect. 15 minutes away. Comfortable and allowed room for relaxation after long days. Not even comparable to a hotel.

stunning modern cottage

the pictures on VRBO really don't do this place justice :) It is beautifully remodeled and spacious, with a few charming details maintained - more like a house than a cottage. Plenty of parking, the AC was perfect and the bed REALLY comfortable.

Very Cute Clean Bungalow!

We were so happy to stay here, it was very clean, cute bungalow. It have been remodel and upgraded with beautiful appliances and matching cabinet/counter tops in kitchen & bathroom. Very nice!! I would definitely stay again!!

This is a unique property near beautiful downtown Forest City, NC. Built in 1925, the property is steps away from the Thermal Belt Rail Trail and the stadium for the Forest City Owls. A short walk or drive takes you to downtown where you will find unique shops and dining.
