Visit to see Mom

Great little updated cabin perfect for a visit with family. Grounds were clean, Beach could use a bit of a cleanup, bring big spray for the evenings. Very relaxing sitting on the patio with a book.

Gma's 100th Birthday Party Weekend

We were in the area for our Grandmother's 100th birthday celebration. We loved the renovated cabin that we stayed at on Lake Augusta. Max and his crew are doing amazing things at this little vintage lake resort; keeping the nostalgic but making improvements where necessary. We were able to bring our dog and that's a big plus for us. The loons on the lake crooned to us in the evenings and we had a blast watching them with their babies during the day too. If you want a TRUE journey back to the lake vacations you had as a kid, you should book a cabin from Max. We'll be back with our kids and grandkids. Thanks for a FANTASTIC stay.

Beautiful nature in modern retreat!

We had a wonderful time staying at Max’s modern cabin!! My daughters loved the loft and we watched sunsets, a thunderstorm, and plenty of wildlife right from the living room. Being right above the water offers privacy and a connection with the outside: during our stay we saw loons, a bald eagle, and a kingfisher as we relaxed on the deck to the sound of the creek. We took our dog on a paddle board just steps from the cabin, and appreciated the community resources such as the kayaks and games. All together lovely! We’ll be back. Thanks, Max, for the obvious care you put into this property.
