Family getaway

This was the best "as presented home" we have ever stayed at! The property owners were very easy to deal with and the guide book for the property was amazing.

Our pickleball court is open all year. And we love when guests can enjoy pickleball and the kitchen, large enough for everyone to create a masterpiece post-game meal together.

This place rocks

My family and I had a blast hanging here. Pickleball, hot tub, games, big screens, and plenty of space for family and friends. We will likely be booking this place again. 10/10 highly recommend

We celebrated my husbands 40th birthday with family and friends. The hosts thought of everything to make the stay relaxing and enjoyable. The kids loved the rock wall and hot tub. The adults had so much fun on the sports court. Everything in the home is labeled nicely. The hosts were communicative and responsive! We will definitely be back. The beds were comfortable. Each room was used and enjoyed! Thank you!!!!

Family NYE Stay

We enjoyed our second NYE trip here and once again it exceeded expectations. Unlike other homes that allow/tolerate dogs. This home truly welcomes them and let us really enjoy having them travel with us for the holidays. Our littles had plenty to do while the adults could spend quiet time together.

Thank you so much for making us part of your NYE tradition again! 🥰 So glad the pups felt just as welcome as the rest of the family, and that the little ones stayed entertained while the adults got some quiet time in too! The sauna is another cozy spot guests love for unwinding during the holidays 😊 We'd love to host you all again next year!

Another Great Visit to Evergreen Retreat

My 8 friends and I just enjoyed another wonderful visit to Evergreen Retreat. The home is so comfortable and well-appointed that it feels like we are in one of our own homes. Lisa and Rich always make sure we are well taken care of. This house, with the hot tub, media room, large dining table and amazing kitchen is just perfect for our Girls Weekend. We are already planning our return to Evergreen Retreat next Fall!

Incredible

Everything was handled efficiently, with the event I wanted to run having everything it could have possibly needed and more. Rich & Lisa were impeccable when it came to communicating when clarification was needed or general questions were asked, and the entire stay was made perfect by the great amenities offered within the location. Care is truly taken above and beyond what is expected to ensure your stay feels just like home!

Retreat and Recharge

Evergreen retreat lives up to it's name providing space for restoration and refreshment. Even though I was in charge of hosting our event, I came away feeling recharged by the beauty of the home and surrounding property. With tasteful, uncluttered, fresh decor and lovely views from every window our time at Evergreen Retreat provided just what our group needed. Plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun as well--hot tub, hiking, time on the lake...the list goes on.

Can I give more than 5 stars?!!!

I can't give enough praise to Rich and Lisa for their hospitality at The Retreat. They've thought of everything - the beds are so comfy, there's many places to sit and chat or drink coffee, the kitchen is fully equipped, and there's so many fun and unique things to do at the house: tennis, hot tub, rock wall. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Your Retreat was truly that! We feel rejuvenated and will definitely be staying again!

Fun for all ages

We totally enjoyed our family get together. The location was equidistant for each of us, traveling from DC, IL, & NY. The interior was well appointed and comfortable. The 6 & 9 year old had a lot of fun on the rock climbing wall, the theatre room, and in the hot tub with their parents. Everyone enjoyed the pickleball/tennis court and the outdoor movies. The self ordained grill masters' loved the Blackstone! We would definitely return.

Beautiful place

Where do I start? There wasn't anything that wasn't perfect. My only advice to renters, DO NOT USE WAZE! It took me in the wrong direction. I switched to google and it took me right there!

Family Gathering

We have been renting VRBO's for years. This is by far the best and most accurate listing we have found. The property was pristine and felt like home for the entire stay. We lacked for nothing. As a self proclaimed gourmet chef, I was in heaven with the kitchen and available utensils. Again, by far better than anything we have come across prior. My grandkids caught their first fish, played tennis, watched movies in the hot tub under the stars. We ALL want to go back. Perfect VRBO!!!!

Wonderful Winter Weekend

This home was perfect for our family. Lisa and Rich have thought of everything. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked. They even supplied extra toiletries in case you forgot to pack yours. Coffee bar fully stocked! The house was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. Our grandchildren enjoyed the game room and theatre room. They even used the hot tub when the temperature was 4 degrees. Lisa and Rich were in contact with us throughout the entire process. They were wonderful hosts. Our entire family did not want to leave, so we definitely are staying here again! Best VRBO house we’ve ever rented!

Evergreen Retreat

We stayed here for our daughter's wedding and returned for the birth of her first child. We were able to keep her dog there with our dog. There's so much to do and so much room! I fell in love with the place the first time we stayed and it will be our go-to for each visit! The host/hostess were wonderful and always go above and beyond! Thank you!
