My family loved the place and location. We used the fire pit, painted rocks on the picnic table and just enjoyed the solitude. The kids liked the games and toys available and the pool table in the game room. The accommodations were great!
Beautiful and relaxing getaway! This home is gorgeous and very well taken care of. Highly recommend! It’s also close enough to everything in Gaylord but far enough away to feel relaxing. Also very close to Otsego lake which is beautiful!
My family had a wonderful time at Tall Pines Lodge. The owners were very accommodating and quick to respond to all of our inquires. The home and setting were sublime. Would definitely go back.
This was a girls trip with 8 ladies. We go to a different place every year and this was the best one so far. The house and property are AMAZING! We spent the day floating on rafts in the pond, playing games and a bonfire at night. The house was accommodating with a well stocked kitchen. We loved it so much we plan to book again next year.
This place was awesome! Went for a golf trip with 6 people. We had plenty of room. Definitely could have had 12 stay here. The house had everything you would need and was very clean. The garage game room was so clutch. The property is secluded and well maintained. Overall we were very pleased with everything. Would absolutely stay here again.
Very spacious inside and out. We used it for a golf trip as there are many excellent courses nearby over Memorial Day weekend. We have gone to the area for decades and already familiar. The garage turned into a bar room with pool/ ping pong table and darts was a game changer.

Beautiful property and overall house. Nice sauna. Good driveway space. Decently close to some nice snowmobile trails, although no direct access.But.The house was dirty. The oven had not been cleaned in a while, nor had the pots and pans. The cabinet where the pots and pans were kept had a very strong odor coming from them, it smelled like something had died. Someone had put away a dirty pan full of grease. The fridge had food left over from previous stays. We also arrived to a dirty dishwasher. Upon opening one of the cabinets in the game room, one of guests was hit in the head by a loose piece of wood trim. Lots of bugs in the house. Somehow most surfaces were sticky.I got zapped when turning on a lamp in the living room, turns out it was broken and had exposed pieces. The house was very cold upon arrival and took a very long time to get to any comfortable temperature, luckily there was fireplace but we were surprised that it was necessary. Upon further inspection later on, after seeing errors on the thermostat, i found the furnace was leaking water from some part. I put a towel down to protect the area - but just wasn’t something i expected to face. The was a NEST security and camera system that I don’t recall seeing in any description of the property. ALSO, THE NEST ALARM HUB IS IN THE MASTER BEDROOM AND BEEPS EVERY TIME A DOOR IS OPEN. Terrible experience in that bedroom honestly. We still had a memorable trip. Otherwise this would be a 1-star review.

I’m sorry to hear your stay did not meet expectations. I do wish you had contacted me during your visit so I could have addressed these concerns right away. I was not made aware of the issues mentioned, especially the thermostat message, and would have gladly sent someone to check it immediately!
I apologize for the dirty pan — that should not have been overlooked by our cleaning team. The dishes in the dishwasher were clean and should have been put away after cleaning.
The cabin is located in the woods, so occasional bugs can happen despite our best efforts to clean and prepare the home before each guest arrives. We always aim to provide a great experience and would have appreciated the opportunity to resolve these concerns during your stay.
Me and my family stayed here for a weekend and it was absolutely beautiful! The house, the property it was just breath taking! Lots of activities for all ages and we enjoyed the private pond as mentioned. Beth was very quick to respond to any questions we had before and during our stay. Definitely would recommend to anyone.looking for a quiet place to stay. Will definitely go back again!

thank you so much and we are so happy you enjoyed your stay
The home and property were beautiful. A lot of space both inside and out of the home. Quiet and secluded home but close to many cities and things to explore. Would rent this property again.
Yearly family vacation in a large home and convenient area. This cabin on 40 acres gave us everything we were looking for and more. Beth, the owner, was awesome! We had a couple of issues during our stay, and she was RIGHT on it! If your looking for a nice cabin in the woods, this is definitely it!
Beth was very friendly and readily available if I had questions the whole time. The kids loved the filtered pond and the location was great for us to take our side by sides on the trails! House had an awesome game room with pool and ping pong and kitchenette. We already plan on returning later this year!

thank you Taylor!
Can't wait to host you again! I am so glad you had a great time.
The most beautiful, quiet, and serene property I've ever stayed at. 5 minutes off the highway, but we never heard a thing. Centrally located in the center of the state... we went to Traverse City, Mackinaw City, Cheboygan, and Wolverine and never felt like we were on the road for very long.
Most beautiful house I have ever stayed in!We had 5 adults and 5 children. The home was very spacious and the beds very comfortable. Very peaceful and secluded. The driveway made it very easy to get 2 big truck's and trailers in and out. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us. The dog liked it too !
