Beautiful property! Close to Yosemite and Bass Lake.Loved that this place could accommodate all 15 of our family and friends, and our two dogs. Nice big kitchen, plenty of rooms and hang out space.

Awesome property

This property was an amazing place to have during our wedding weekend! The two separate houses made it great to fit both wedding parties and having both the outdoor area/bar and ping pong table in the garage were fantastic ways to keep everyone entertained. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a space for 15+ people.

Very nice and spacious. Deer and turkeys were around every day on one side of the main house. The property was a little farther than expected to the valley in Yosemite. Had a problem with barstools. Team was very responsive and was fixed within 2 hours. Very easy checkout.

Thank you so much for staying with us. We're glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for sharing that the home is very spacious and gets daily visits from wildlife. The home is about 30 min from Yosemite South Gate, but because the park is so large the valley floor is an hour from the entrance. Unfortunately many people think Yosemite as just the valley and don't realize how vast the area actually is. We appreciate the kind words about our responsiveness and easy check out.

Great potential but very disappointing

We rented both houses for a family reunion with people convening from across the globe. We researched and prioritize this location because of the listing the beds, rooms and the location. Unfortunately, we were met with considerable dangers and challenges. Ants prevented use of the kids bunk room crawling in the sheets and floor for days. The ladder to the bunkbed was missing a step and rickety. The dining room table of heavy oak was wobbling to an extreme and caused danger again preventing use. The bar chairs inside and outside were all wobbly and could not be used. Finally, we had an entire day where there was no water at all. I had to call the management company daily for the various issues and to remind them to come and fix various problems, which they did. The entire day without water was termed an inconvenience but it was so much more than an inconvenience for us. It was unfortunate because the facilities actually can be great with care and proper management. After two months I finally received the 25% discount as requested, but only after company's excuses followed my frequent appeals and reminders of the management company. The problems that we experienced with the facility prevented relaxation and ease as we explored the area and prepared for long days in the Yosemite Park. I’m hopeful that this serves has an opportunity for the homeowner and the property management company to reset and make this the property match the described listing.

Hello Erin, Thank you for your review. First off, we sincerely apologize we were unable to offer you a discount on your first couple of inquiries. It seems you folks were trying to negotiate the pricing with our team, which is understandable, but July is our busiest month of the season so we were unable to help with that. We do apologize that the well pump went down during your stay, but are very happy that we were able to get it fixed the very same day. Many VRBO hosts live nowhere near their properties, but this owner does use as their manager so that we can respond to issues quickly and efficiently, as things can often come up unexpectedly in traveling. Lastly, it is a bit of a bummer that you did not mention that we actually over-refunded VRBO's recommendation for the water going out for those 6 hours. The owner was adamant about ensuring you all were taken care of due to the issue, and we ended up offering double what VRBO's policy was. It took some time because we had to wait until VRBO closed their case before processing the additional refund. But, seeing that you all were pushing for a significant discount prior to booking, it seems that this was the ultimate end goal for you all, regardless of what happened at the property. We would strongly encourage folks to read more reviews about this home on Air....Bnb where there are dozens of great reviews about this property. We truly believe it provides an incredibly affordable option for large groups seeking a peaceful Yosemite/Bass Lake Retreat!
