About this property

Charming, 4 bedroom village house with pool and large garden

Fulfill your French dream in this traditional village house with its lush Mediterranean garden and private pool. Spend a balmy summer evening sipping wine while you BBQ or make homemade pizzas with your family and friends.

The vine-covered pergola provides a shady corner for those long lazy lunches while you can keep an eye on the kids enjoying time in the pool.

The large open-plan lounge dining room area opens up to a large kitchen with a double oven with views over the garden.

There is 1 bedroom on the 1st Floor as well as a large room that leads onto a terrace that we use as our studio with desk space with 2 extra single beds which can also be used as an additional hangout space for the kids. The bedroom has a Queen size bed and double doors that open onto a balcony. The modern bathroom opens onto the terrace with double sinks and a large walk-in shower.

On the top floor, there are 2 further bedrooms one with twin beds and another with king-size double and beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. The 2nd bathroom has a bathtub with a shower above.

Bring your pets and enjoy the vineyard walks on your doorstep.

The house is a short walk into the center of the village where you can enjoy a glass of rosé at the local bar or join in the revelry on a Friday night at the village festivities.

An old terraced village house, rented out by the owners when they are away travelling. It has a very nice private garden with several areas for sitting in the shade or sun. The small pool is adequate and well-maintained with good loungers and comfy chairs. The kitchen has clearly been well-used over the years. It was a pleasure to be able to walk to the boulangerie in the village for baguettes and pastries each morning. We had an enjoyable stay. Thank you Monica and Simon

Loooooovely

We just got back from an absolutely looovely holiday in Pouzolles. The house was absolutely perfect, sparkling clean, all amenities and more for us to use, beautiful kitchen, pretty garden, nice pool and really nice outdoor eating area - cool & shady under vines! Having 2 big bathrooms (loved especially the top one with the candle!) plus an extra toilet is always very handy. Very comfy beds. And we especially loved the good vibes of the house, it just oozes hospitality, helped as well by Monica's speedy and very friendly responses to my emails;)! Pouzolles is a really nice village, loved my daily morning walks to the bakery, while the rest of the family was out for a sweaty run. We enjoyed the Tapas evening on the village centre and the Friday night summer fetes. Perfectly situated for the beaches, market towns, river swimming, canoeing, wine tasting, olive tours - really, so much to do:)))))). We will be back. Thank you!!!!!

Haus in Pouzolles

Wir hatten ein paar erholsame Wochen in diesem wunderschönen Haus in einem kleinen, für die Gegend typischen, ruhigen Dorf. Küche und Wohnzimmer sind perfekt ausgestattet mit allem, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Der gemütliche Garten mit mehreren Sitzbereichen und einem Pool laden zum faulenzen ein. Toll sind auch der Grill und der Pizzaofen, mit denen man sich leckere Sachen zubereiten kann. Die Kommunikation mit der netten Vermieterin ist sehr unkompliziert. In der näheren Umgebung findet Supermärkte, Bäcker und sogar ein Weingut. Auf dem Dorfplatz finden im Sommer regelmässig Veranstaltungen statt.

Wohlfühlurlaub

Wir haben die Zeit in Pouzolles sehr genossen und uns auf anhieb sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und der Garten mit Pool ist wunderschön gestaltet. In der Küche findet man alles was man braucht. Bei Fragen oder Problemen sind die Besitzer, Simon und Monika, sofort da und kümmern sich um die Anliegen. Der Kontakt ist sehr freundlich und unkomplizert. Die Umgebung ist ruhig, aber man erreicht die nächste größere Stadt (Bezier)auch in ca. 20 Minuten. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Très bon moment chez Monica

La maison de Monica est un havre de paix. Maison très agréable à vivre. Nous avons passé 2 semaines à profiter du jardin, de la piscine dans un calme absolu. Le petit village est charmant et s’anime chaque vendredi soir autour d’une fête ouverte à tous. La maison est très bien équipée, rien ne manque. La communication avec Monica est très facile et l’entrée se fait de manière autonome de façon très simple. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

We moved to France 13 years ago where we fell in love with the possibility of what our house could become. Over this time we have created a lush Mediterranean garden and completely renovated the house.

Why they chose this property

The house is large enough to accommodate up to 2 families, with a generous outdoor space with a sunny swimming pool as well as a large sunny terrace overlooking the garden. The large olive and fig trees offer welcome shade on a hot sunny day.

Pouzolles is a beautiful village, one of the few in this area that boasts its own chateau. Take a wander through its narrow little alleyways and streets and discover its history that spans all the way back to medieval times.

Make your French dream come true and immerse yourself in village life; shop at the local Friday morning market. Eat, drink, and dance the night away on a Friday evening at the local village festival held every week during July and August. Sip a glass of local wine at the bar while you wait for the truck that sells oysters or mussels on a Thursday evening.

What makes this property unique

The garden area is the perfect space to enjoy alfresco dining at its best. There is a small gas grill, a large wood BBQ, and a wood-fired pizza oven. The well-equipped kitchen makes this a food lover's dream. The large outdoor table seats up to 8 people. The house is filled with memories from our travels and painting that we have bought or created ourselves from the countries that we have spent time in.
