Good stay, but some suggestions: instructions like what to do with trash, how to lock doors; provide some basics like s&p, sugar

Robert, thank you for your review. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay! To clarify, we provide our guests with a starter kit of supplies. This includes cleaning supplies, toiletries, and paper products. Once these supplies run out it is the responsibility of our guests to provide any additional supplies throughout the remainder of their stay. Supplies are restocked before each guest. Pantry items like oils and spices are not usually stored in the home for sanitary purposes. We encourage our guests to bring any food-related items they may need during their visit. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused during your time with us. We hope you choose to stay with us again soon!
Great responsiveness of company and easy check in/out.
One family member had to leave early because something in the house triggered an asthma attack, just something to be aware of for allergic asthmatics

The living are was cozy and warm. The bathrooms were both on the first floor and the bedrooms on the second floor. The bedrooms were a little chilly for fall and one room did not warm up well. Overall it was very pleasant and comfortable.

Met our needs
Cute, well stocked air b&b. The stairs are very steep and narrow and not ideal for younger kids. Both bathrooms are downstairs while the bedrooms are upstairs which can also be a pain if you have people peeing in the night.

Staying in Maplewood Manor
We were grateful to be in a place with multiple bedrooms to accommodate our entire family. The unit had clearly not been used for quite a while as it was quite dusty. Nothing too crazy, just lacked that fresh clean feel. We did have fresh towels and sheets. Overall, this is a good place for the price, I just wish that with the cleaning fee we were charged, it would’ve been cleaner.

We enjoyed being in the quiet rural area but still close to Burlington. The residence was pleasant and well equipped. The only caveat was that the stairway to the 2nd floor bedrooms was very narrow and steep and both bathrooms were on the 1st floor. Also, the modem for television and internet were located in the adjacent duplex and we had no television or internet access even after contacting Vacasa. It was not a problem for us, but would be for some guests.

* Overall very decent property if you're looking for a place relatively affordable and close to the Burlington area
* Some critiques: the property literally did NOT have pans (slightly ridiculous) in the house or BBQ equipment despite there being a grill. But, I think this can be fixed pretty easily.

An interesting place
This place is easy to get to and has some interesting features. The biggest thing I can mention to someone looking at this unit is the stairs up to the 2nd story can make someone uneasy. One of my friends who has knee problems was not able to climb. Also, all bathrooms are on first story. It is a very unique design. We had a small issue with Vacasa, but they were able to get in touch and resolve.

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Do not rent here. The listing and supposed amenities are deceptive and outdated. My wife and I age 80 and great niece,20, rented for a week. The 18th century converted farmhouse was tauted with two full baths. What wasn’t clear was they both were on the main floor. The bedrooms were on the second floor. The steep stairs from the first floor to the upstairs bedrooms were hazardous as they were only 1/2 the depth of normal steps, such that one had to be very careful going up or down, especially at night. For my wife and I, we were forced to stay on the main floor queen sofa bed. On opening the sofa bed, we discovered the sheets with blood and hair. It later was stated that the cleaning crew omitted the sofa bed and new sheets were supplied later that day. There is practically no drawer space for storing clothes. The master queen bedroom had one small dresser. The twin bedroom did have some space. There were a total of three hangers in the entire place. The small dresser on the main floor had broken knobs, making it inaccessible. The property itself fronts on afairly heavily traveled road particularly early in the morning and up to 1 o’clock in the evening. Traffic noise. As for the stove, oven and cooking utensils they were initially unusable. The oven was so filthy It was virtually unusable for the week. The only two pots and fry pan and rust or porcelain decay. But for the oven, the on site, property manager, resolved those with replacements. The owner refuses any refund.
