My close family and I stayed here over the Christmas holiday and it was exactly what we were looking for. Cozy, well appointed, and an excellent wood fireplace for lazy afternoons and evenings. Conveniently located near Lake Lure and Chimney Rock!

Please plan for another trip and visit again.
This is a lovely, comfortable cabin in a beautiful setting. Janice was very accommodating with our needs. We had a great time. The upstairs bedroom is a loft. It’s very spacious and the en suite bathroom is big too. Depending on who you’re traveling with it might be a privacy issue. We were good friends so it worked just fine.
It’s only about 15 to 20 minutes from TIEC and a mile from Lake Lure. Highly recommend!

About the host
Hosted by Jan Counts
Welcome Guests! Ed and I are from SC. We started building this house in 2003 and finished it in 2005, we did a lot of the work ourselves. So as they say, the harder you work for something, the more you appreciate it. We love this place and we have made so many family memories here. We are old now and we can’t work as hard as we used to, but we still enjoy it and try very hard to care for it. We hope you will enjoy your time here too!
Why they chose this property
