It was a easy check in and comfortable clean room. We would stay there again! There was everything there to accommodate us. The place was easy to find.
Property was clean and comfortable, convenient to downtown/airport. Could use some board games/books to provide something to do when hanging out. Host was quick to respond to any issues. Definitely would recommend this place.

It would’ve been nice to have more than one roll of toilet paper. The sponge should be changed in the kitchen sink at each customer. The trash bag in the bathroom should’ve been changed instead of just dumped. There was something red and not very appetizing in there. It did have comfortable beds and it was a very warm home and cozy and we did appreciate the fans. Oh yes, the shoveled walkway was fabulous thank you and we did find the outlet for the plug in the of our truck. We will stay again.
What little was available in the kitchen and bathroom were covered in grime and biofilm. We personally cleaned the kitchen and the bathroom (to the best of our ability with our limited supplies) upon arrival. We would have cleaned the floor had the mop not been visibly unusable. We resorted instead to a "the floor is lava" policy and sacrificed a pair of socks apiece.Jeff was very responsive, and accommodating to our late check-out request. We were very pleased to be able to walk to local offerings despite visiting during the off-season and a dramatic cold snap. Check-in was easy, but Vrbo supplied the wrong address (it was easy to identify the correct building from the pictures, but I hope we didn't disturb the neighbors when we arrived). We would enjoy returning to the neighborhood, but probably not to this property.
Had a great experience. Close to everything you want

Very basic. The owner was responsive and prompt to fix our concerns (dirty bedding). It worked for a quick night of rest but didn't offer more than that.
Very convenient location. We had a great trip. There was no phone number provided so there was no direct way to communicate with the owner/manager except through the app/email.

The app should have provided our #. We have it listed in the app. That is beyond our control.
Another star would have been nice. Thanks for being our guest.
Great communication with host, and Jeff was also accommodating enough to let us extend our time by a couple hours.
I did face issues with the WiFi, however - I'd planned on working from there but the wifi was pretty poor. Bit of a pain point, but everything else was absolutely lovely.
Comfortable, good place to base from. We were able to view northern lights from porch. The neighborhood was quiet, right in old Fairbanks and walkable for groceries and restaurants. Jeff was very responsive to any inquiry.
It was a good vrbo, the price was great, and it was pretty clean and we slept comfortably. the couch was super comfy and it was close to walmart which was nice. The kitchen could’ve been better stocked but oh well

Thanks for being our guest.
Not happy with only 4 stars. Kitchen is stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay!
Apartment was very clean and easy to locate. Check in and check out were great. Kitchen could use a few more utensils to cook with and a few more pots and pans.
Not a complaint, just an FYI for the owner, one of the backs on the bar stools is beginning to break.

A little too rustic
The listing said it had a rustic, historic vibe. I wouldn’t describe it as “historic” in any way. Everything we needed was there except a clean fresh feeling.
One of the room bed was so so hard, and need extra key

how do i get in?
getting into my unit was eventful. i reviewed check-in instructions (see pic). no lock at the front door so we went around the back where i found a lock box to the left of the door, as advertised. the code didn’t work for me so i asked my son to give it a shot and it still didn’t work. shortly afterwards a man looked down from the deck above and noticed we were having trouble so he gave us a different code to access the unit. i assumed this was either the property owner or manager. once we were in i submitted a comment to through the app stating that the combo didn’t work but the guy above us gave us the “new” code. after a period of time i got a call stating there was a mixup and i was supposed to be in the upstairs unit, which was clearly occupied. i told him we were good since its just for one night. later he called me back and said the upstairs folks were in the wrong unit and that a cleaning person let them in, and he said the folks upstairs agreed to swap units with us so it would “save me money on cleaning since i’ll only need to clean one unit not two” i thought to myself, are you kidding me? they have clearly been in their unit longer than we have so i’m sure they’ve already made themselves comfortable, used the toilet and probably the bed for at least a nap. This is clearly his problem not mine. ALSO, as you can see from the check-in instructions and pics; nothing indicating a 2nd floor unit, instructions should mention this. he passed the blame to an app update

Wow, I am surprised by his response. As it is clearly untruthful. The very 1st sentence of the description states it's on the 2nd floor. He tried the wrong unit and unfortunately, our new cleaner in training and neighbor had given the confused non English speaking foreigners the code to the 2nd floor even though they were to be 1st floor . These people then gave the 1st floor code to Jeffrey. Ridiculous errors yet both parties had a clean and cozy place to stay. The new cleaner stated she was trying to help. We have found that no matter how specific instructions are, people still become confused. A simple phone call immediately would have solved the problem. The new cleaner has been told to never again give out codes. We told Jeffrey he could switch to the original unit and we would make sure it's clean but he chose not to. He never voiced any frustration over this.
