Kamaole Sands #10-404 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit on the fourth floor. It has a fully-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, 3 flat-screen TVs, telephone, and complimentary Wifi. There is split system air conditioning in the living room and both bedrooms, and ceiling fans throughout. There is a king bed in the primary bedroom and both a queen bed and a twin bed in bedroom 2. Both bathrooms have showers only (no tub). For outdoor activities, #10-404 is equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, and sand toys. Kamaole Sands #10-404 sleeps 5.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.

Kamaole Sands is the premiere property in South Kihei. Located across the street from Kamaole Beach III. Whale watch, swim, snorkel, walk miles on the beach and watch the most amazing sunsets imaginable. There are 15 acres of lush tropical landscaping, waterscapes, and fountains. There's a fully-equipped gym / workout facility with an amazing view overlooking the pool area. In addition there is a large family style swimming pool, two hot tubs, a children's wading pool, and 10 barbecue areas with shaded picnic tables. Kamaole Sands features two tennis courts (no fee) and three pickleball courts. Adult and junior tennis rackets and pickleball paddles are available to rent with complementary balls. Complimentary parking in a private, well-lit and security patrolled parking lot. Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations are available for a fee on a first come, first served basis. Wi-Fi available in most areas and a convenient cyber cafe is in the lobby. Activity area with ping pong, foosball, and other games for all ages -- free lending library. Free Maui News daily newspaper available at the pool area. Every Wednesday, Kamaole Sands hosts a complimentary gathering with live music and hula dancers. Kamaole Sands is centrally located and is in walking distance to shops, restaurants and activities. It is also minutes from the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena.

Perfect location

This condo is in a fantastic location. A swimmable, snorkel friendly, turtle seeing beach is literally across the street. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

Great location, ocean view, grounds are so beautiful. Been to Maui more time than I can remember and this is by far one of the best condo's I have stayed in. It had everything we needed for our trip. Will come back again!!

Our stay was , just as expected, wonderful. The location was very convenient; right across the beach. Although trees do block a little of the view, it was still nice. Walking distance to places to eat. The place was clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental was perfectly suited for our needs (family of 5: 3 teens). The unit was clean and well appointed and facility grounds are also very nice! (We appreciated the spotlessly clean BBQ grills and friendly, helpful staff). You really can’t beat the location with its proximity within steps to a great beach and so many other equally great beaches nearby. We would definitely recommend and return again (despite the brief interruption of our vacation for the tsunami evacuation !)

Nice unit, close to beach. very spacious, but teens who stayed in the loft area said that it was very echoey and they had trouble sleeping when someone was in the kitchen area. If we were all on the same time schedule it would have been fine.

We have stayed at this condo before and will continue to return to it. Condo location, ocean view, and complete condo package is as good as we have ever had in Maui and we have travelled to Maui over 10 times. Jeff and Kathy have been very easy to work with and give them a very high rating for their property. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed there for 8 nights with my 2 kids: it was almost too big for the 3 of us! Very spacious, very convenient with the beach just across the stress, a gym, a pool, hottubs, BBQs. As a single woman traveling with 2 kids, I felt VERY safe 100% of the time. Only thing I wish was if they would have allowed a late check-out, that would have helped my for my last day. THe kitchen is very well equipeed. We enjoed our breakfasts on the balcony with a ncie view.

Living in paradise

Loved everything about this place. Beach was right there across the street. Loved the fact that the stackable washer/dryer were full size. The only thing that was a clinker was the vacuum cleaner….it is CHEAP & spits out more sand then it sucks up. Switched to sweeping instead. Other than that, we would definitely recommend & come back ourselves.

What a wonderful stay

It's a wonderful location with balcony view of the ocean. This was a two-story unit with a king bed and bath (shower), and downstairs with 2 twins and bath (shower). The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils, cutlery, and appliances (microwave, coffee maker, washer/dryer) we needed for our stay. There were adequate supplies for hand soap and dishwasher detergent. I recommend you bring your own shampoo/conditioner/body wash/shower soap. There are 3 split air conditioners in each room to set your temperature, which was nice. Fans are also in each of the living areas. While everything was well-maintained and clean (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, etc.), the only downside was that the floors were dirty. They were swept/vacuumed but not clean. Our feet/socks were all visibly dirty/stained after walking around the unit. While you can keep your shoes on, I would take them off out of respect for the property. Aside from that, I would gladly stay at this exact unit again and recommend it for families of up to 4. It has a great location (both in the unit and on Maui for our activities) and had everything we needed.

Fantastic property on Maui

Just got back from our stay in this wonderful property. The location was fantastic and the view from the balcony was wonderful. Easy walk to the beach and to some shops and restaurants just up the road. The property was clean and had everything we needed for a fun family trip to Maui. Didn't use many of the resort amenities (pool, BBQs, tennis, etc.) but they did seem to offer a lot of options. Had no trouble with the check-in process, so it seems they've gotten things worked out from what some of earlier reviewers had mentioned. I had emails from VRBO and the property management company ahead of time with the various codes. The check in process with the condo office was pretty quick and easy. Would definitely recommend this property and would definitely look at staying here again should we get back to Maui.

Great Place close to the beach

The location and accommodations were fantastic. Easy walk down to the beach and tons of great little shops along the main drag. Checking in was a bit of a pain where you have to call the Management Company to get your door code but other than that everything was great.

Perfect Vacation Property

The property is the perfect vacation getaway for your family. It has every amenity you need to feel like you are home. We used the pool while visiting and found it the perfect compliment to the beach across the street. The pool has many chairs and tables for every guest and the temperature of the pool was refreshing on a warm day. The grounds were perfectly manicured and expansive for kids to run around and play, or throw a football/frisbee. It's a safe grassy area at the front of the complex. Although we didn't access the BBQ's, we noticed many guests were using them throughout the day, especially during the dinner hours. The unit has a reserved parking space very close to the elevator, which made for easy transport of luggage, bikes and Costco supplies to the top floor. The only knock we had with this unit was the check-in process. We were advised by the owners of the condo that Maui Condo & Home (Property Management Company) will be providing us the condo entry code 3-4 days prior to our arrival. We also received instruction to check-in with the front desk at the Kamaole Sands Resort to obtain the entry code to the condo. We never received the code from the Resort or from the property management company until we were already at the complex (with a car full of melting groceries) and AFTER the front desk agent at the Kamaole Sands Resort advised us that they did not have the condo entry codes. We had to download "the app" (Hospitality bygladtohaveyou)and contact the property management company to first provide COVID vaccination status before they would release the entry information. Go and search Maui Condo & Home on the App store and you won't find it. Not to mention the area only had 3G cellular service, which meant slow download/upload of information. When we finally reached someone from Maui Condo & Home, we were advised the unit wasn't ready yet (4:30pm already) despite check-in was at 3pm. Thankfully the staff member on the phone was willing to give us the access code, although we couldn't gain access until after 5pm. Fortunately, the owners provided the unit number in advance and we went to "look" at the unit armed with the entry code. To our dismay, there was no cleaning staff to be seen at the condo and we used the codes to get in, rather than wait for the call from the management company. Improve or make more clear the check-in process and guests will enjoy themselves. Otherwise, it's a gongshow to start your relaxing vacation.

Lovely condo in a perfect location

My family had a wonderful experience staying at this property. It has everything you could possibly need, including a printer which came in handy and lots of kitchen gear. The beds were extremely comfortable, so we all slept well after a busy day at the beach. The location is amazing. Steps away from a beautiful beach and still quiet. Loved having morning coffee on the lanai looking at the sunrise.

Family friendly vacation stay

We had a relaxed week long stay at this condo in Kihei! The location could not be better, right across from Kam lll beach with great views from the lanai! The condo was comfortable, well stocked with utensils, beach toys, beach towels, cart, cooler! The property management was easy to get in touch with and had left the condo clean! Central air throughout the condo made stay during hot August month extremely comfortable. We also enjoyed the pool and the kiddie pool with an infant and a child.

Great apartment to stay

We enjoyed this house a lot. It had all we needed: from ocean view and a good balcony for breakfast to everything needed in the kitchen. Although our children did well and didn't fall anywhere or break anything, the house may be a little dangerous for little kids. It has a wooden staircase and several glass tables. We enjoyed it all and it all looked really nice, but sometimes it was scary when our 2 year old wanted to go up and down herself.

Lovely

My family had three adults and two children. We really enjoyed our time in Maui and felt this was a great location. Right across the street from Kamaole 3. Quite literally across the street. Afternoon views of the sunset and shore from our balcony. Near shopping and restaurants a couple of blocks away. The unit had everything we needed and then some. The property was well kept and clean. The resort amenities were great. Clean and large pool and super clean Webber grills available which we took advantage of. The only issue was communication with management company. Maui condo and home which we had to download an app for to get code to enter etc was difficult to get a hold of when needed. I could see the app interface and their lack of detail causing some head aches. We did not get our door code at arrival and had to call to get it. We also got a pre approved late check out by the owner but our key code stopped working at normal check out time. Had we gone out to the beach and came back after it would have been kind of a problem. Luckily we were in the property and didn’t worry much since we spent the last couple of hours cleaning up and getting ready for the long flight. Overall it was a great stay and we’d definitely stay here again. It more than met our needs.
