5 Stars - Overlooking Rosario Resort - Pet Friendly

Location! Location! Location! immaculate home with water and marina views in the heart of Rosario Resort community.
This open plan home was completed in Sept 2010 and has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a loft.
Designed with families in mind it has a bunk room and a ping pong table. 2 of the bedrooms have KING size beds and are en-suite.

The ground level comprises of a ping pong table and reading area, an en-suite bedroom with King size bed and the washer and dryer. 2 sets of french doors open to a deck with an outdoor shower.
The upper level is home to a modern open plan great room with huge Bi-folding doors which can be open in the summer to bring the outside in, or cosy up to the large gas fireplace when it's chilly outside. Also on the upper level is the modern fully equipped kitchen.
There is another en-suite bedroom with king size bed and a kids bedroom with 2 set of twin bunk beds. The great room is overlooked by a huge loft area which is equipped with TV/DVD and 2 day beds. A perfect spot for the kids to hang out and watch movie's.

Pool towels are provided if you want to utilize the heated outdoor pool at the resort.

Rosario Resort is a 2 minute walk from the house, where you can find the marina, outdoor pool, convenience store and cafe. The Moran mansion is open for museum tours and a indoor pool and Spa.

Moran state park and Cascade Lake is 5 mins away and the shops and restaurants of Eastsound are just 10 mins away.


If you don't want to take the car ferry, the seaplane from Seattle lands at the Rosario marina which is an easy walk from the house. Alternatively you can come by boat and dock it at the marina.

Great Stay

The house met all of our needs for a multi-generational family stay. The location works well. The house is close to Moran State Park which we enjoyed. The house is clean and well equipped for a comfortable stay. Wonderful view from the deck. Nice to have access to the Rosario Resort family swimming pool although the pool water was too cold for swimming during our stay in late May. There was no Verizon cell service in the immediate area, but the house Wi-Fi worked well.

Beautiful inside and out

We are a family of 7 who stayed for a full week. Beautiful house, full stocked with everything you could need, and extremely clean. This is a well loved home. We played ping pong, roasted marshmallows over the fire pit, cooked meals, and did laundry!Great location- took a whale watching tour right at the bay just a short walk to the dock. Also really quiet location nestled in the trees.If I had any suggestions for the owners it would be new mattresses. But would stay here again for sure!

Family Spring Get A Way on Orcas Island

The property was amazing. We especially enjoyed relaxing together in the great room with the 4 wide patio door open to the deck. The view from the deck of the harbor was wonderful. Plenty of space for the 6 of us to gather and find our own area too. We enjoyed the firepit area as well.Questions were answered promptly by owners. Well stocked kitchen.Convenient to outdoor adventures and shopping.

Comfortable lodging with amazing view

My husband and I stayed with my parents in this wonderful place. Everything was comfortable, and spacious. In the mornings, we enjoyed sitting on the porch, drinking our coffee and taking in the water view. I would stay here again, as well as recommend to any friend or family member.

Wonderful family stay!

This property is just beautiful. We stayed with our son, daughter in law and 2 grandchildren. We also brought 2 dogs. It was a great location both outside and inside. We lucked out with the weather. It was perfectly sunny and only slightly breezy. Thank you for hosting us.

Perfect Spot- Rain or Shine!

This house is exactly what the listing says- 5 Stars! We stayed a week in April with our kids under 10 and they were never bored! Great proximity to Moran State Park and Eastsound Village. The kitchen is equipped with all the things needed to host a lot of people! Many puzzles, books and water fun a fire pit stocked with wood. We made a lot of family memories here.

Beautiful, Spacious Home

We loved our time here! I had the pleasure of celebrating my 40th birthday with family and friends. The view, the deck, the high ceilings, the three separate living spaces for different activities, the ping pong, the location! The house is well-equipped, and the host was very responsive and kind. This is a special spot. I hope to be back for another visit!

Beautiful Property with a view of the sound

House has everything you need (comfortable beds, great view, loft area, fire pit, etc.). Nice kitchen with everything you need to prepare/cook food; plenty of games or books for idle times. 10 minutes from restaurants, grocery store and shops. The deck faces the Rosario Resort and the water. We saw 2 bald eagles hunting for fish. We will be back!

Enjoyed our family gathering.

So happy to have a place for the family and our daughter’s small pets. It work wonderfully for our holiday cooking traditions and games we like to play when we are together. Sure loved the heated floor in the master bath!

Wonderful home that perfectly fit our group of 6 adults for Thanksgiving weekend. Clean, warm, magnificent views, and a living area that was a joy to cook and spend time in, this was a rental that I hope to return to again.

Perfection!

Gorgeous everything - house, view, furnishings, surrounding area…. Not to mention, the home had EVERYTHING. Best stocked kitchen of all the countless rentals we stayed in. Books, games, umbrellas, doggy even doggy toys. This house had everything. Communication was fabulous. I inadvertently booked for 2025 and the owners we kind enough to send a message, just in caee. Amazing Property

Perfect

This was a perfect place to stay and enjoy the island. Such a beautiful space, well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. I spent my mornings paddle boarding and sitting on the porch drinking coffee, days exploring the many lakes and trails, evenings relaxing with friends while we BBQ’d and caught up. Simple check in and check out and great community.

Awesome House by the Marina

This was our second time staying at this property. The house is in a great location by Rosario Bay. If you took a sea plane in you could walk to the house. The house is spacious and gave us plenty of room with five adults and two kids. The house was super clean and comfortable. We will be staying here again in the future.

Amazing Orcas Home

We celebrated my 65th Birthday with 27 in attendance. Great house for a family event, very open, 3 level home with a beautiful view of the Rosario's Harbor. We rented another home in the area in addition to 4 rooms at the Resort which is very close. Some family members flew up on Kenmore Air which flys right into Rosario’s Marina. Had an amazing time and the owner Tracy was very attentive to our questions/needs.

Beautiful & well-appointed

We had a wonderful stay with our baby at Tracy’s property! The house had everything we needed from a playpen and high chair to baby utensils. With the incredible views and minutes from the water, we really enjoyed this quiet luxury retreat. Made good use of the bbq and fire pit. The hosts directions made it very easy to find. Plenty of parking for multiple cars. Verizon phones did not have cell service but t-mobile phones did and the wifi was fast and reliable. We would very happily stay here again!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Orcas Island during a trip 20 years ago. 10 years ago we purchased the land on this amazing lot and set about building our dream vacation home. We wanted to build a house that our 4 children can grow up with and we can build wonderful memories in. One day we would like to retire here.

What makes this property unique

This place allows our children to have some of the freedoms we experienced growing up. Exploring the resort, searching the beach for pirate treasure and swimming until your skin turns wrinkely. We love to feed the deer at the door step, walk around the marina and chat to the boaters, visit Cascade lake (5 min drive) and kayak, sunbath and swim. Kayak around the bay. Visit Eastsound. Hike the many trails around the island.
