Secluded two separate cottages, approximately 70 yards apart, on nearly 11 acres of rolling meadows and forest. A gentle slope leads to the lake waterfront with floating dock. Tie off your boat during your stay. The property has been described as a tranquil wonderland. Enjoy the firepit, wiffleball field, use of fishing poles, gas grill, darts, canoe/kayak, large paver patio for star gazing and much more. Price negotiable for extended stays.

Rent a boat from the nearby marina and tie-up overnight onsitr throuhhout your stay. Short car ride to local restaurant options and grocery and short boat ride to bars snd restaurants.

Perfect oasis for a peaceful getaway. It doesn’t get more unique as you sip coffee or wine across meadow, mountain, and water views.

Main cottage: 2 bedrooms with 2 full bath with full kitchen, living room, washer/dryer, wireless internet, outdoor paver patio (covered and uncovered sections), fire pit, darts, indoor and outdoor flat screen TVs, and more.

Upper Cottage: 2 bedroom with 1 full bath with open living room space with concrete floors (couch, TV, wireless internet, kitchen table, refrigerator, microwave, washer/dryer). Also, the Upper Cottage has a large fenced in area off the side of the house.

10 Day Wedding Getaway

What a beautiful place to stay at Smith Mountain Lake in Penhook Virginia. My sister was getting married and we needed a place to stay nearby and Time Out Too was just perfect. The cottage is set up really nice with everything you could possibly need. The beds are super comfy and I'm really picky over bed pillows and these were wonderful! The views overlooking the lake were amazing and the veranda was perfect for drinking our morning coffee and sipping on cocktails in the evening. We travel with our dogs and they loved the fenced in yard, it's great for zoomies! Sandy's Grill, right around the bend at Lumpkins Marina is a great place to get breakfast or grab a burger, it's literally three minutes away. If you want somewhere peaceful to getaway, this is definitely the place to stay, I highly recommend it, and look forward to going back! Angela M and family
