Beautiful home!

Everything about this vacation home was wonderful! The only problem is, it is located in a swamp! The whole yard was a wet mess the whole time we were there.

Perfect family stay

Our time at A Wave From It All has been absolutely wonderful. There were a few hiccups along the way with sheets and the pool heat, but it was fixed quickly. The house is perfect! My grandmother and elderly dog used the elevator and helped with them getting in and out of the house. The house is conveniently located behind Publix and there are multiple restaurants nearby. You will need to bring your own dish soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Bring all your beach supplies like towels and such. Otherwise, sheets and towels were provided. We rented a golf cart for the week from Island Time Carts with Renee. Also, you do have to pay for parking along the beach but the golf cart rental includes a parking pass. We had a lovely stay here and would recommend anyone staying as well!

Wouldn’t recommend

We were told we couldn’t check in before 4:00 because the house wouldn’t be ready early. We drove by at 2:00 and there were no cars in the driveway and no sign that anyone was there working, though there was a black bag of linens in the front yard. We returned at 4:00 and the house appeared the same from the outside (linen bag still in front yard). When we went inside everything appeared clean, but there wasn’t a square of toilet paper anywhere, which was both unfortunate and ridiculous. There was also no soap to wash our hands. The most infuriating thing, though, was that not a single bed had sheets on it. So we couldn’t check in early because the house wasn’t “ready,” but it still wasn’t stocked with essential supplies, and the beds weren’t even made!! I’ve never rented any accommodation where I had to make the beds, and find that completely unacceptable, especially given the cleaning fees charged and the price of rent for the week. To top it off, 3 days before we were scheduled to check in, I was informed that the pool heater was broken and the part had been ordered. By the time we checked out it still hadn’t arrived. I never would have booked this place for spring break if I had known the pool heater wouldn’t be available. In fact, I messaged the host prior to booking to ensure there was a pool heater and that it would be available to use the week of our stay in early April. We got to watch the neighbors swim in their heate the place. addition to the rent for the week.
