Thanks for your patience working through the app issues when booking. We are glad you enjoyed our home and hope you come visit again some day!
Comfortable and spacious home in an idyllic setting-- beautiful trees, clean and serene lake with abundant wildlife. Amazing kayaking and swimming off the pontoon boat (would highly recommend renting.) My family enjoyed every minute of our stay!
The host Margaret was wonderful to work with. She gave good reminders of things and that was helpful. Very clean property with lots of kitchen wear and fun things to do for the whole family. We loved the pontoon boat and the kayaks. Thanks for a great trip and hope to be back next year!

Thanks for your kind words, Grace. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay and hope to have you back!
Easy check-in, the host was very easy to communicate with. The house was amazing, there were a lot of nice extras that you normally don't see in VRBO's. The house was so clean and all the rooms had plenty of space. Only drawback was there is no A/C (they do provide fans) and the lake is very shallow. The house did make up for it.

Thanks for staying at our lake house! Glad you enjoyed the extra amenities we offer guests.
We enjoyed our time at Lake AuSable. The home was comfortable, well furnished, and had enough space indoors and out to move about. The large deck facing the lake provided fantastic views and additional space for grilling and relaxing. We decided to rent their boat which was a great way to thoroughly enjoy the lake for swimming, fishing, and exploring. The home was well supplied with cookware, dishes, paper products and spices, and bug spray. We also appreciated having access to games, towels, life jackets, washer and dryer, fire pit, and kayaks. The hosts were very approachable and informative.Thank you for sharing your exceptional lake house.

We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay at our home and the use of the pontoon boat! Please come back again.
This was by far the cleanest and best supplied rental house we have ever stayed in!! It has everything you could ever need in the kitchen, even for a big family. It also has lot of games and supplies for indoor and outdoor fun. Margaret was very responsive to all of our questions. The lake, while mostly shallow, is beautiful and peaceful! We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding in the streams connected to the lake. Great biking near by. Perfect location for a get-away-from-it-all vacation. Would definitely stay there again. Only things of note would be that the house does not have a/c (which is rarely an issue up north) and there is not a traditional master bedroom/bathroom. Thank you Margaret for sharing you fantastic lake house with us!

It was our pleasure to host your family! We are glad you noticed all the extras we provide our guests to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. Please do come back again. Take care.
This cottage is an absolute wonderful stay with everything you need when staying Up North. All amenities were provided to enjoy life on the water as a couple or for larger families. The house is very well maintained with lots of bedrooms and a large deck which provides great views of the lake. Lots of windows for fresh air and beautiful views. Having the boat is a must to enjoy the lake to the fullest for the lovely breeze, fishing spots, and the sandbars to hang out or swim at. We loved the kayaks as well!
Everyone we encountered was very friendly and welcoming. There were local spots nearby for a quick bite to eat or a beer. Lots of wildlife around including deer, ducks, birds, and loons.
The owner’s communication was excellent and easy to work with. Response was very timely for any questions we had during our stay! Would absolutely rent this property again!
