Great house for our large hiking group. Very clean, lots of quiet areas to sit, very clean, large modern kitchen, beds slept very well. We would definitely return!!

Property was great, well maintained. The host was very assessable if needed and management company very responsive. Great property for a large family or a family reunion. Everything we needed was in the home, ironing board/iron- drip coffee pot, and kureg, pots, pans, dishes- everything. Plenty of linens and towels. Maybe bring an extra roll paper towels if have children, but this was a great home and a great time.

The house was absolutely beautiful, and there was plenty of space for all of us. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, and the kitchen was great. We cooked most of our meals there.Would stay again!

Perfect for a large Family

Charming house with plenty of area both inside and outside to enjoy Hendersonville. We do this family trip every year and this is the best home we have found to accommodate our large family.

Host was responsive and prompt. Easy to work with. The home has a lot of character and charm, great place to host a large family gathering. The kitchen was well stocked and the nice backyard was great with dogs (unfenced). Plenty of parking. It was cold weather during our stay, yet the house was warm and inviting. Highly recommend this host and property if you are in the area.

This was our family’s 2nd year renting this particular home for our annual vacation! It has been the perfect rental for our large family! We have 6 couples and 7 children (ages 16-10months) and it is so hard to find a nice home that can comfortably accommodate all of us at once!! This one checks all the boxes and we highly recommend, especially for large family trips! Also, a huge bonus in my opinion, the property hosts had no problem with us bringing our Great Dane as one of the 2 dogs allowed! We did reach prior to renting to confirm that it was ok! Most vacation rentals we had previously researched had a 50lb. weight limit for any pets. So we were thrilled to be able to bring her along!! We had an awesome stay for the second year in a row and will definitely consider this home first for all our future trips to Hendersonville!

The property was lovely and beautiful - a stellar location, and ample space for large groups. The keypad was not working upon arrival to access the property, but we got a hold of the host to get a physical key that was in a lock box on the property. Would 100% stay again.

Absolutely Wonderful

The house was amazing and the property was spacious, no one close to you. We were able to enjoy a memorable weekend in private. We had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy games, TV, or conversation! The kitchen is a chefs kitchen.

Family Gathering

Spent alot of time on the amazing front porch. We also took advantage of the many games available for us to use. The very large dinning table was a great place for games. We enjoyed the corn hole game and fire pits outside. The kitchen is very well equipped ! All the beds were very comfortable. Really a special place!

The Perfect Setting for Family Gatherings

A celebratory family reunion found this home generously and perfectly stocked: kitchen supplies and table settings, with room to cook and serve buffet style, a large dining area with room for everyone at the table, dozens of games for indoor and outdoor entertainment, parlors for small group conversations and primary suites on every floor. We are happy to see restoration efforts continue on this beautiful estate. Having come from a variety of states across the US, we feel fortunate to have found this NC treasure for our family reunion/reunions!

Perfect Victorian Setting

We had a family group of 10. We fixed a 4-course meal using the Downton Abbey cookbook, and found the kitchen to be wonderful for all the gourmet dishes we had to prepare. The dining room was more than adequate for our group. Afterwards we had a "Victorian Murder Mystery", in period costume, and the house was a perfect setting for it. We were just minutes away from the Apple Festival, which was going on while we were there, and we found some nice restaurants nearby.

The house is VERY cool and nicer than pictured. Lots of mini sitting areas and one large dining area. Modern kitchen and bathrooms with lots of antiquities and charm. Best of 2 worlds. Our kids locked us out of a bedroom and the management helped talk us throigh it right away. Surprisingly, the giant house was also able to stay cool on very hot days. Cons: After booking on vrbo we got hit with a massive fees (about 1600 for weekend) that I did not see until it was too late to cancel - so that too-good-to-be-true price? Yes - it was. If I had a larger budget I'd definitely stay her annually, but that cleaning fee may be cost prohibabtive.
