Great place, great location. Quiet neighborhood (and the only issue with the neighborhood is it's kind of a restaurant desert). The Metro is super close with easy access to 3 lines. Host communicated really well.
My parents stayed for two weeks at this location while they helped me after a medical procedure. They told me they enjoyed their stay and how quiet the location was and safe the neighborhood felt.
My wife and I were visiting our daughter for the weekend. The apartment was clean, well maintained, and cozy. It came with coffee and everything we could need. The on-site parking in back was a big plus for us. The host was so nice and communicated very well. A plus experience!

My adult daughter and I came to DC for a concert and stayed here. The place was very clean, and very comfortable. Thank you so much for the thoughtful details, such as good pillows and soft sheets. We enjoyed our stay very much.
While I haven't stayed at many vrbo's, or other vrbo style properties, I have stayed at enough to realize how great this place is for a stay in DC. The place was not only clean, it was fresh and inviting when walking in the first time (love the little treats for sure!) and stayed that way. The owners were amazingly quick with all inquiries/requests. And while these points alone are enough to garner a 5 star review, it was the willingness of the owner to allow me to park my car in their gated/locked backyard that I truly appreciate! I was there to pick my son up from college and had a car full of all his stuff, so knowing it was secure allowed me to not have to worry at all. Please know that the neighborhood felt completely safe and friendly. The neighbor to the unit saw me walking toward the place and pointed me in the right direction. If you are looking to get to downtown/GW/Georgetown or any other area off the Metro, the place is less than a mile from a Metro station. I will definitely look to see if this place is available every time I plan to head to the DC area!!

Disappointed
Walking up to the door was intimidating as the grass along the walkway was about a foot tall. Opening the fridge was a mouse dripping on door shelf, some spoons in drawer were dirty, water in bowls in cupboard, carpet had big stain. Only
1 bath and 1 hand towel per person. Used dishcloth for face. It could stand a good overall cleaning. Used toilet tissue for Kleenex and napkins. Appreciated washer and dryer.

Guest never mentioned any of these issues during stay and then leaves bad review almost a month later. A true Karen.
This is a basement apartment with a back alley entrance. The toilet would not flush and almost backed up onto the floor with sewage. Ade got it fixed, but there was fecal material around the bathroom afterward. In addition there is a back fence that you close with a chain lock, and someone came down the alley and strongly rattled the chain link gate that is chained, trying to get in while I as there, which was really frightening. Not recommended for single female.

Guest neglected to include that they were refunded for half of their trip due to the toilet issue that was fixed the next day. They also complained about someone trying to get into the property and after review of the security camera, this was proven to be untrue. The property is located in one of the safest neighborhoods in DC and has all 5-star reviews on Airbnb.
Check-in was easy, and the place was quiet and clean. We managed to fit 2 cars in the spaces in the back, so that was a bonus. The area around the unit was very nice and close to where we wanted to be. The Wi-Fi was out for the stay, but that was ok because we were busy being out and about. The owner was super responsive to our concerns about the Wi-Fi and made sure to get back to us about anything else.
Really cute space in the lower level. Private entrance with locked and secure parking in the back. Perfect for a few days of visiting with family in the area. Definitely would stay here again!
My stay of 3 nights was quiet and comfortable. I had no problems at all and the host was very responsive and checking in at the right times to ensure I made it in okay and also during my stay.
