Enjoyed the beautiful properly , good location , came with family and had family from Great Barrington over for brunch . Saw James Taylor at Tanglewood, shopped in Lenox and Stockbridge .
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few days to get away on a mini vacation and we had a wonderful time! The property is beautiful and there was so much to do in the towns nearby!
We thoroughly enjoyed the property for our child-free trip! Wonderful amenities in a secluded atmosphere made for a relaxing trip. We loved exploring the hiking trails on property with our dog and the local businesses of the nearby towns (including a dog friendly brewery in Great Barrington!) Thank you to our hosts for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable!
Just a lovely property nestled in a woodsy private perfect getaway! Owners answered questions promptly. It was a great home!!
Definitely would revisit the area;) loved the lighting and privacy!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Nice place, inaccurate description
We actually didn’t end up staying, as the cabin did not have air conditioning, only one bedroom had a small window unit mounted through the wall, which was unable to cool anything beyond that room. It was roughly 90 degrees outside, and the upstairs (main level) felt warmer than outside. So we packed back up and had to find and pay for hotel rooms. Cute place, nice setting, etc., but we definitely feel like the listing is misleading saying that it has air conditioning/is air conditioned. We visit family in the area each summer and know how hot and humid this area gets June-August, which is why we selected a cabin “with air conditioning”. Still waiting on whether or not VRBO will help make this right with a refund. If not, I don’t think we will be using them again out of principle.
Jason and Garrin's place is a great space to relax and reset. The house is comfortable and well appointed, and the property itself is what you want for an upstate escape. Jason was super responsive and overall we would highly recommend!
We spent 90% of the time on the decks. Meals on the front deck, games and fun on the back deck. Restaurant recommendation was excellent. Catamount zip line down the road. Nice getaway
So many wonderful “moments”- places to sit, and talk (and drink!) with friends. We felt like we won the lottery finding a place so close to Tanglewood that fit our group’s vibe so well. If you want a spot you’ll be talking about for years, from the awesome hot tub, gas fire, sitting areas in the woods, downstairs bar and generally awesome decor, book this spot!
Definitely an awesome place for peace and quiet. The house includes many amenities to relax or have a little family party. A great mountain backyard with a pond and short trails to enjoy the silence. Could use a guest storage to put belongings and supply refresh, but its ok.
We enjoyed having a place to stay near Tanglewood. It was very convenient for us to see the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Tanglewood and the surrounding towns such as Lenox and Lee. The Norman Rockwell Museum was also fairly close. We enjoyed hiking on the beautiful property which has a pond and several areas to sit down and enjoy nature. Thanks for letting us share your home.
Loved everything about your place, The location, beautiful grounds, and the home warmth feeling the place has. Let’s not forget the colorful lighting. A nice getaway not to far from home. My dog and I enjoyed walking the trails( a very nice touch to the property).
