About this property

Secluded Athens County 3 bedroom home with loft and beautiful views

Relax with the entire family at our kid friendly home. 3 private bedrooms and an upstairs loft with bunk beds for the kids as well as a large yard for the kids to play. Large dining room and two separate living rooms to spread out and two full bathrooms. Fully furnished kitchen with pots & pans, dishes, mixing bowls, air fryer and Kurig. Remote, quiet setting yet, only 15 minutes to Athens OH for food and shopping.
The space
Home was remodeled in 2021 with all new beds & bedding and updated kitchen appliances. Includes all dishes, pots and pans, air fryer, and Keurig. Outside space includes a barbecue grill, corn, hole boards, camping chairs, and a table
Guest access
Guest will have access to the entire house and attached two car garage

Nice house with great rooms. We really appreciated the 2 full bathrooms. Nice kitchen, but we couldn't find the Keurig coffee maker. Good to have air conditioning in the 90-plus degree days.

The house worked very well for our family

We enjoyed our stay at this property. There was lots of space for our “three generations of adults” family. We have been vacationing together for 18 years and have stayed in a real variety of places and houses. This house is older, but has had some nice updates to the inside spaces. The kitchen and laundry were well equipped. The garage was a nice place to park two vehicles during a very hot and fairly stormy week. The house was very well supplied with most paper products, towels, etc. The porches are older, but the yard and view are amazing. We set up a pop up shelter in the shade of the maple tree off the deck. Even with very hot weather we had a breeze, a great view and beautiful sunsets to watch as we caught up on family stories. We spent time in Athens, two days playing at Stroud’s Run State Park, and went tubing on the Hocking River. It was a great combination of activities and relax time.

House was dirty , refrigerator was very dirty and freezer, infested with lady bugs couldn’t even cook in house , back deck very unsafe , bathroom very out dated wall paper peeling , hardly no water pressure , beds looked like someone had been laying in them before arrival . Pictures looked clean not true by no means
