Miles Away is an elegant 2 bedroom villa located in Point Rendezvous, only a few minutes from the shopping and restaurants of Cruz Bay. Tucked into a serene and private setting at the end of a road, this villa is perfect for honeymooners looking for privacy, two couples or a small family.
Two equally sized bedrooms are located on opposite ends of a large and airy great room, and each features a custom made, king sized teak bed and en suite bath. When it's time for dinner - or just a cool drink - the fully appointed kitchen is a cook's dream. Just outside is a lovely private pool, and the decks provide relaxing spots for sun lovers and shade seekers alike, with the peace and serenity of Ram’s Head in the distance, Fish Bay down in front, St. Croix off to the right, and the National Park mountains to the left.
When you are ready to come inside, Miles Away offers wi-fi, 100+ channels of television and DVDs for your entertainment. While the easterly sea breezes keep the home comfortable, there is air conditioning throughout, with individual controls in each room. Solar panels and a battery back up system keep the electricity flowing if the power goes out.
All rooms, decks and the pool are on the same level, so there are no steps to climb. If exercise is on your list of things to do, walk down to Fish Bay, to Klein Bay or Ditleff Point. The pool will be there to cool you off upon your return! When you are ready to explore St. John the National Park beaches and snorkeling are just a short drive from Miles Away.

The price is based on the number of people who occupy the property. Nightly rate is based on a 1-2 occupancy. Each additional guest above 2 is charged a per person per nights fee. My husband and I stayed here for 10 days for our honeymoon and it was perfect! It was exactly as it looked in photos. Great location- private, nice pool with an awesome view. The communication was easy. We were greeted by the host at the local grocery store and he led us back to the house with a tour. All the amenities needed for cooking, making drinks, laundry, etc. Only about 10 minutes from downtown Cruz bay with all the shops and restaurants. Looking forward to staying here again!

Relaxing with beautiful views

Miles Away is a wonderful villa! We were visiting with our daughter and son-in-law and everyone in our small group enjoyed the outdoor spaces and pool for relaxing. We grilled out 1 evening after a day of exploring and it was nice to sit on the patio and enjoy the view. The villa is very clean and spacious, perfect for 4 adults. We would definitely return!

Beautiful home and amazing view!! The 2 master bedrooms make it a great option for two couples traveling. Great access to all the roads and close to the markets. Kitchen is fully stocked to cook at home too!!

Beautiful villa with a great view. We loved how quiet and peaceful it is yet only a short ride to town and the grocery stores. Villa had everything we needed to enjoy our 2 week stay. We hope to be back soon. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location at the end of a street with total privacy. Well equipped. The pool bottom got more than a little dirty mid week from the abundant flora and fauna. One text to Eric and someone was there within two hours. The proximity to Cruz Bay and markets, etc. could not be any better. Great trip!

Perfect choice for a dream vacation

This villa is fabulous. Well maintained and thoughtfully designed. The location is secluded—Miles Away is an apt description. Private space nestled in the hills to enjoy coffee with visitor deer, birds and iguanas but with incredible views too. The pool has entry steps. The grill and cooktop work great. The bed is so comfortable. Really it was perfection. Would love to return.

Already Planning Our Return to Miles Away

This was our first time visiting St. John, but it will certainly not be our last. Miles Away was the ideal place to be on the island in my opinion. It was secluded and serene, yet still close to Cruz Bay and the excursions we were interested in within the National Park. The space was exactly what you would think of when imagining a hillside villa in a tropical paradise. It was a great size for our family of 4 as well. The pool was likely our favorite spot in the house as it overlooks the bay and it was the best place to star gaze while taking a night swim after a long, hot day. We can't wait to visit again soon!

Amazing St. John Home

Eric met us at the car ferry as planned and gave us a useful house tour upon arrival. Miles Away was a beautiful home in a stunning location with a pool that we used daily. The home was spotless, and well appointed with towels and key kitchen supplies. It was extremely helpful to have beach chairs and coolers easily accessible in the front storage bin. We were also very much enjoyed the lovely basket of snacks that was left for us when we arrived. Overall a wonderful property. Highly recommended!

“Miles Away”

Miles Away was the perfect vacation. Beautiful, peaceful, and serene! We were just not sure what the little white boxes were on the corners of the bedroom and living room walls, and no one told us about the beach chairs in the chest on the front porch. We had to rent chairs. Otherwise it was an amazing time!

Excellent house

Miles Away is an excellent rental. We really enjoyed the location; far enough away from Cruz Bay to feel very secluded but a relatively short drive to get to the grocery store or restaurants. The views are incredible, and the pool is great. It was great to relax by with a drink or to cool off after exploring the island. The house itself was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was extremely nice and had everything you might need. Multiple coolers and beach chairs for your use if you want to spend the day at any of the beaches on St. John. Perfect place to stay for a couple or 4 people. We never had any issues to have to contact the property manager during our stay, but they were very responsive during the check in process. We would definitely stay at Miles Away again.

Miles away getaway

Everything was wonderful except the beds. The mattresses on both king beds were worn out. There were no box springs under them. Only on plywood. Big dips on each side you would sink into them. Both bedrooms. We got awful sleep. Also the bedroom windows face East and the morning sun shines into both bedrooms at 6 am. Owner needs to purchase blockout curtains. People like to sleep late on vacation. JP with Miller property management was awesome. We had a nice time other than the above issues. Very tired after a supposed to be relaxing vacation.

This was our second time staying at "Miles Away". On this trip we brought another couple with us. The house could not have been more perfect for us. The layout with open concept living room/kitchen in the middle with master bedroom suites on either side was great for added privacy. The house is a short 10 minute drive to Cruz Bay. It is the last house on a dead-end road. Neighbors are far away. We loved that the house faces the east, so every morning while enjoying breakfast on the covered porch, we could watch the sunrise. That porch was also a welcome spot to relax with an evening cocktail out of the sun. The owners have thought of everything. There are 4 beach chairs, 3 coolers ( and lots of ice packs in the freezer), umbrellas and beach towels to take with you to the beach. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, and they provided spices, aluminum foil, coffee filters ( think old fashioned drip coffee maker), bug spray, etc etc. We loved the welcome basket that we found in the fridge when we arrived. It contained veggies/dips, cold salads, lunch meat and a roll. How thoughtful !! I could go on about how much we enjoyed our stay at "Miles Away", Will definitely be back. !!! I highly recommend this villa.

Paradise in Paradise

We had a wonderful visit to the island and Miles Away made it all that much better. You really can’t ask for anything more. It had very nice decor and amenities. It is about a 15 minute drive to Cruz Bay. The view of the bay and ocean is beautiful! The house exceeded our expectations and is more magnificent in person. If you book this home you will not be disappointed. It is first class!

Miles Away is paradise!

We absolutely loved our stay at Miles Away. It started off great with such great communication and help from JP, the property manager. The house is even more beautiful in person. They have everything you could possibly hope for from board games for the whole family, extra towels, extra linen, beach chairs, a whole book with restaurant recommendations, a grill by the pool, and much more! The beaches were only a short 20 min drive from the house and we ate at all of the delicious restaurants that were only about 10 min from the house. We absolutely recommend you to stay at Miles Away, you will not be sorry. We will definitely be back next year!

Beautiful Home

Just as beautiful in person as in the photos. The 2nd master is actually detached from the main house which was a bit unexpected. House is the last one on the street so it's very quiet and secluded. Finishes and design of the house was amazing. Would love to stay again.
