We've hit many NC beaches over the years, this was our first time at Oak Island. This house is conveniently such a close walk to the beach and short drive to restaurants. We had a nice 4 day getaway.
House seemed a bit dated in that the furnishings were older. The kitchen did have nice appliances. There were lots of personal items in drawers and cabinets---not what I would have expected in a short term rental. The house was very clean. Convenient to the beach.
It was just what we needed. A very easy walk to the beach on a quiet/low traffic street. The kitchen had recently been renovated, which was nice. I would recommend a new king mattress in the master suite when possible. Robert Murphy is very quick to respond to questions.
