Honestly, this was disappointing. We searched for a property with a pool - using the filter. The pictures showed a pool. The list of amenities had a pool. My wife and kids were looking forward to a nice time by the pool. We arrived and the pool was unavailable, being renovated. When asked, the owner was non apologetic and showed the fine prints. Buried in the property's details was the mention of the renovation. Was that information even there when we booked a month ago? There is no way to tell. It felt like a bait and switch. I wish the owner had been forthcoming with this information when we first booked, As it was, we had the pay the special "out of town" rate at the municipal pool. It kind of ruined the experience...Parking is somewhat confusing. The property shares parking space with a different complex and it wasn't clear where to park when we arrived.

Nearly a full month before your booking request, the pool’s unavailability due to scheduled construction was clearly noted in the property description. This update was made immediately upon receiving notice from the HOA, and included both the construction status and the estimated timeframe for completion.
While I understand your disappointment, it’s important to note that all guests are responsible for reading the full property details before confirming a booking—especially when selecting a place based on specific amenities like a pool. The listing did not promise a working pool, and no effort was made to mislead or “bait and switch.” In fact, the nightly rate you received was discounted, in part to reflect this temporary inconvenience.
Regarding your parking concern, I apologize for any initial confusion. The property includes a detailed parking guide, and I’m always available by message to assist with any arrival questions. I’m always happy to clarify any aspect of check-in if reached out to.
