Overall, our stay was okay, but there were several issues that kept it from meeting our expectations. To start, the pictures on the website were not an accurate representation of the property. For example, the side yard for our dogs was much smaller than it appeared in the listing. The cabin is advertised to accommodate eight guests, but the dining table only seats four, which doesn’t make sense for a property of that capacity. In my opinion, the cabin is much more comfortable for a maximum of five people. We also experienced a few maintenance and cleanliness issues. The blinds were not working properly, we couldn’t get the downstairs TVs to connect, and the bathtub leaked through to the floor below if you tried to fill it all the way. The bed sheets did not smell freshly cleaned, and the jacuzzi appeared not to have been cleaned thoroughly since there was still debris in it.That said, the cabin does have a lot of positives. It is cozy, and the beds are very comfortable. It’s conveniently located about 10 minutes from Gatlinburg. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cookware, utensils, and silverware we needed to prepare meals. While there isn’t a mountain view, there is a beautiful view of the trees and landscaping. The long driveway provides good privacy, so you’re not right next to the neighboring cabins. The washer and dryer worked great, and the game room was excellent—it was one of the highlights of our stay and was fun for both kids and adults.
