This house was perfect for our family trip to Rapid City. We have three young kids and spent most evenings in and cooked at the house a lot and it had everything we needed. Very comfortable and clean. It was a good location for getting out to Mt Rushmore, hikes, lakes and stuff around town.

Kitchen was very good. Living room definitely needs some comfortable chairs and a floor lamp or table lamp. It was a perfect location for traveling around the monuments , Badlands, Devil’s tower in Wyoming and even Chamberlain where Dignity statue is located.

Great Home Rental for Our Family Vaca!

Our family stayed in Rapid City for a 5 day trip to the Black Hills area. It was a perfect location to head different directions each day - Mr Rushmore/Crazy Horse, Deadwood, Custer State Park, Hot Springs. Even staying IN TOWN had plenty to offer. Close to grocery, liquor & restaurants. We would have loved to have laundry on site, or a few extra towels, but other than that, it was great. The homeowner was responsive to our questions about wifi access. Would stay again if in the area.

2023 Family Getaway

My husband, Jeremiah, is originally from Rapid City and I started calling it home after serving in the Air Force. I am a Realtor in the Black Hills full time and Jeremiah owns his own contracting business. We love to purchase abandoned or foreclosure properties and bring them back to life. Along with these two full time careers, we also own a bouncy castle business! We spend our free time on the boat visiting the varies lakes around the area. Our two small children enjoy tubing and surfing behind the boat. If you have any questions or need information regarding the many tourist attractions in the area, please don't hesitate to reach out. Why they chose this property

The west side of Rapid City is a highly sought after location to the local residents. The area is known for its safe and friendly neighborhoods. Although these homes a bit older, they are among the best built homes in the city and surrounding areas.

What makes this property unique

This property was abandoned and went into foreclosure, where it sat vacant for several years. My husband and I purchased it and brought it back to life. We completely redesigned the interior by tearing down walls, creating a 3rd bedroom and luxury feel throughout. From the plumbing, waterlines, furnace and tankless water heater, everything inside is brand new. Even though this property went through a major renovation, it still has its 1950's charm!
